39:45 Remember the context here- after committing multiple murders Arthur has decided to end his life and he's going to do it on national television as the punchline of a joke... So he's doing a happy dance down these stairs because he knows it's the last day of his life and the pain will finally be gone. Of course Arthur changes his mind and it doesn't go that way.
Great point out! I think you’re absolutely right! It’s so hard to pick up on those things with these types of movies. Since usually they sprinkle in soooo many references and stuff.
I haven't seen the 2nd one but I am ignoring everyone saying it's horrible. That's because I know the majority of people that saw it aren't really into musicals and on top of it are upset that it didn't follow the typical comic recipe they WANTED but didn't GET. However, anyone who went in the very beginning and didn't know it was a musical, I can be accepting of being upset about seeing a musical if it's not their thing in the first place. The majority of anyone that went knew and didn't like it before going in and just wanted to be a part of everyone else saying how horrible it was. Hopefully you get some opinions from people who can look at something objectively and give good thoughts on what was, or wasn't good, with the story (hopefully spoiler free as much as possible). None of this is to say it isn't possible that they failed, even for what they were trying to put across and because of that, was a great disappointment. I'll eventually watch it but keep in mind that everything they did might have been on purpose and that's the joke of it. Sometimes that's the key to being entertained. I think it's funny that they did this. There's no way they didn't know how many people were going to be angry.
And that’s why those lazy writers (especially that Terrible Todd Philips and his God-Awful a-bit-too-much nudity for the Hangover films) should have left the first Joker 🃏 film alone, because they did Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) too dirty in this God-Awful sequel. I don’t hate it because it’s a musical. I understand why it’s a musical, because Arthur and Lee Quintel were singing and dancing in their heads. Joaquin has an amazing singing voice. The voice time I heard him sing was when he played the legendary country singer Johnny Cash (Walk The Line). But still it’s NOT why I hate it. These are the reason why I hate that film so much: 1.) It’s because of the scripts and story 2.) The writers did Arthur Fleck dirty by letting him get hurt and raped by the security guards 3.) Make Lee Quintel (Lady Gaga) broke up with Arthur just because he said “There was NO Joker”, and that he was a lonely man who wanted to be nice & kind to others 4.) Make Arthur regret being the Joker 5.) Let an unnamed prisoner who was secretly watching Arthur and then psychopathally kill Arthur by stabbing him a million times through the stomach and let him bleed to death while carving his own smile in the background. They definitely should have leave the first film alone. I prefer the first film way better than that God-Awful & Disturbed sequel. Hope it doesn’t get nominated at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Critics Choice Awards nor Oscars (even though Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix Bob did a fantastic job. It wasn’t even their fault.) Joker (2019) Joaquin Phoenix will always be the best Joker film of all times, after Jared Leto and the late Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight) I’d rather cast Joaquin and Gaga as different verison of Joker and Harley Quinn in Matt Reeves’ Batman with Robert Pattison’s Batman, Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman, Paul Dano’s The Ridder, Andy Serkis’s Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Ferrell’s Penguin. I really hope that this Godforsaken sequel has an assload of dislikes 👎🏽 because that ending was God-Awful. I remember watching this with my co-worker thinking that it might be a good film, but Lord, was I wrong. I’m kind of glad those people behind us ruined the movie for me by leaving the lights for about 3 mins and talking on a phone silence for a minute, because I lost interested watching that God-Awful & disturbing sequel again. They shouldn’t have made it in the first. There, I admit it. Should’ve leave the first film alone. The first film had a perfect ending, and they just had to do a sequel of it. I’d rather cast Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga as different versions of Joker and Harley Quinn in Matt Reeves’ Batman with Robert Pattinson’s Batman, Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman, Paul Dano’s The Ridder, Andy Serkis’s Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Ferrell’s Penguin. I also really hope Margot Robbie comes back as Harley Quinn in the James Gunn’s DCU in the future soon, and at least let Jared Leto play a different version of Joker 🃏 too. That’s what I’d rather watch! Also, I’m really glad that Bradley Cooper didn’t come back to produce the God-Awful & disturbed 😳 sequel, because that s**t was awful, sad, depressed, nasty, and disturbed like the ending. The first one was wild enough.
A lot of the scenes in Joker are not scripted like him crying with makeup on. They put music on in the background a lot and it just happened. Also him closing the the door after killing Randal and kissing his friend on the head. Also the scene where he punches out he did for real and nearly broke his hand spending ages puching it really loud and scared everyone. Then they did it a second time with it not attached to the wall because it was so good. Their is also the famous fridge scene him and Todd Phillips had chats what to do when they had spare time on set of what Arthur got up to at night with insomnia and the camera man set cameras up and he just climbed in the fridge randomly.
@@Krushingreactions Joaquin did multiple scenes in a number of different ways all really amazing so they had a hard decisions to make on what to put in. The fridge scene is my favourite tho that was take two in the kitchen take one was him standing cleaning dishes and just crying at night.
Please DO NOT react to that God-Awful, lazy writing, depressing, disturbed, saddening, nasty, so-called “Folie á Deux” sequel. I’m gonna pretend that Joker 🃏 (2019) is a truly, real ending of Arthur Fleck AKA Joker
Don’t listen to these idiots who hate a movie because it wasn’t exactly what they wanted. Don’t listen to dummies who are upset the movie has emotional substance and it isn’t just a Joker crazy spree.
Wow. I can’t believe most of the people in the comments admitted that they actually like the God-Awful so called “sequel”. Well I don’t! I hated the ending when Arthur got stabbed and died before he meet a vistor (which we never saw.)

One of my favorite Joker film where there’s NO so-called “Sequel”
It was a great movie!
Sophie and her daughter live of course. Arthur would have never hurt them nor Gary, because they were the only ones who was ever nice to him
Spooooooktober is here! Let us know what you thought about Joker 2!? 😅

It's overhated, if you go in with no expectations you'll probably enjoy it.
It’s God-Awful! It’s very bad! Do NOT react to it! It’s not really a sequel. It’s just the director giving the fan a middle finger for $200
I actually enjoyed part 2
A lot of people didn’t enjoy it.. 😔 I’m glad you liked it!
@@Krushingreactions it was hard going in there having heard all the bad reviews but you have to try clear your head best you can before going in
It still shouldn’t have been made 👎🏽
@@traydaniel0403 absolutely not, but I just enjoyed it for what it was
Movie is fantastic. People are mad that it wasn’t what they wanted.
1:21 This movie took place in 1981

Spook Season is upon us! Happy October! 🎃
I loved part 2 also!
Me too actually
Okay, I'm waiting for the punch line
That’s good though! Because so many people were saying it was bad. Maybe they were just following the crowd. SMH
Don't watch the second movie, pls. It'll ruin your impressions

We have to do it! 😂
