      Don't worry most of them get contracted to French, English & Walsh sides straight out of school and will probably be eligible to play for those countries in the 2027 world cup. So get your selectors out to all the big schools with a checkbook, the Rand is so bad you'll get them at a bargain.

      @@GolDRoger-px9qs Man we live in a country with the most perfect and comprehensive laws but nothing get enforced, controlled or policed and officials are as corrupt as the day is long. With a fat checkbook anything is possible.

      Chris Reyneke and Roger.. You guys are just being negative. There's no proof that any of these talents are using illicit substances and there's also the slightest of possibilities that they will play rugby in another country long enough for them to even be successful for that country's international side.. After the success of Rassie there's only exciting things to talk about with regards to SA Rugby so start enjoying this superb talent and get your biltong ready for the next world cup!

Kudos to this generation who have taken the school game to another level...also kudos to their coaches who tirelessly hone their skills. Some of these guys are already playing senior pro rugby, e.g. Fasi of Dale who is at the Sharks and Papier of Garsfontein who has played for the Boks... Fantastic!!

      @@ncedisafeni351 yeah they need to change that... look at that flair, surely Rassie has a game plan for that talent. Unreal! we'll have some of your ex pats in the AB's soon if thats anything to go by

    • @Touchthibo
      @Touchthibo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ncedisafeni351 I am more of the optimist. The boring game has won SA titles. Just recently two SA teams were in the final of the URC tournament. SA just needs to start producing senior coaches who can fuse the flair these boys have with the sturdy, defensive and calculated game we currently play at Springbok level. With such a dynamic game SA will be dominant for years to come.

    South Africa has surplus talent, this is just a small taste, it will get better as rugby gains popularity across the country. Their wings are the fastest and their forwards are amongst the strongest in world. The world cups that they've won thus far are just an indication of what should be expected of the Boks in future. Undermine the Boks at your own peril.

      True, now the big boys are actually nibble and their stepping game is improving. Question is with such a big pool of talent, we will loose some to the Northern hemisphere especially with SA plalikely to play the northern league and also possible inclusion in the six nations. Already boys from high school are scouted by international teams. On the whole it just means SA rugby is in good condition.

    South Africa has serious track potential. I don't know what's lacking, maybe world class coaches? But our boys have serious pace
    I mean, I've seen gangsters outrun cop cars lol

    We only need more government support for school rugby. We have so much talent that can and want to go far.

    one of my saffa mates told me there's a strong steroid culture in rugby starting from high school on up, is there any truth to this??

    • @gabrielmkhonza7195
      @gabrielmkhonza7195 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Your Saffa mate is trying to ingratiate himself to you. There is strong culture of competitive, pride and achievement. There is also a strong culture of testing. There may be one or two youngsters who may be juicing and others who uses creatine, but this doesn't a culture make. School boy Rugby is very competitive and has a lot of Sponsorships, so younger train hard and lift those weights as their future depend on it. So your mate should desist on casting aspersions pn the whole school rugby and by implication the whole if South African Rugby system based on innuendos.

      There is plenty of steroid use in rugby at school level in South Africa, not so much as much at professional level where I guess players are tested more often

    • @chrisza9782
      @chrisza9782 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not that much, honestly. Testing is common now. A few kids a year get busted out of hundreds of rugby schools. It’s like when a school gets labeled a gang haven because a couple of kids got caught with weed.
