Louder is not always better......in cars ...like in people ! A proper system sounds absolutely joyful on the 355 .... There wasn't a morning that I didn't look forward to starting up my '99 355.....
You need to see if it's had the fuel pumps changed too as the top of them leak fuel make sure you get new tops just to be safe cos them Ferraries leak fuel and catch fire 🔥 all the time and it's to do with the fuel pump lids leaking bro

I've just changed my Larini exhaust for a Capistro,it sounds absolutely incredible now,the capistro is a best hands down
Don't know about that car but old hot rodders installed headers to eliminate back pressure which increased performance.
So, basically turned a ferrarri into a Civic with a fart can.

Exhaust back pressure is needed at lower rpm to counter camshaft valve overlap that is designed for higher rpm performance.
I still remember delivery of the old red f355 and going to Florida to install the capristo exhaust. That is one car I wish to own.
