Hello Sir , I'm new to data engineering, I'm a 2023 btech it passout , and currently I have got a job in a fintech for data engineer profile, but all these years in engineering I have heard only about data scientist and Software developers , these two are high in demand and can easily earn 15-20 lakhs with 1-2 years of experience, but I am in dilemma that do data engineers have such demand or not? can they earn somewhat similar if nor equal or more than software developers? . Can you help me with these 2 questions

See here the ask is to give the employee's and their mgr name. So What I am doing here is just doing the self-join on the basis of empId & mgrId. Now the question is why I am choosing these cols to join so the reason is simple we need to find the mgr name right? So just assume e1 is your mgr table and e2 is your emp table so when you will join both the table then on matching col we need to give emp.empNm as the employee name and similarly for mgrName we need to use mgr.empNm. And answer to your question previously I was just reversing the column name. SELECT emp.empNm employeeName, mgr.empNm ManagerName FROM Employee mgr inner join Employee emp ON mgr.empId = emp.mgrID; I hope you are getting my point.
The last solution is correct for the current dataset, but what if the customer 3 would have bought 2 times the same product, let's say 6. The result of the SQL would be the same (customers 1 and 3), which is false. An alternate solution would be to use the below having clause (to check if any datatype casts are needed) : >

But distinct c.customer_id will not work here as it is always 1 as it is grouped by c.customer_id " having count(distinct c.product_key) = (select count(product_key) from Products) " and distinct(product_key) is not require in sub query as it is mentioned it is a primary key in Products table. And no join is require as pointed by interviewer.
