I was one of those lucky folks that was there on opening day and went many times over the summer in 2001. When I first went to Disneyland in 1998 they hadn't yet broken ground and the bus we went on came all the way up to the ticket booths. Both parks have had some amazing transformations over the years but DCA has had the most impressive changes.
i thoroughly enjoyed this miniseries! i spent a lot of time at dca in its first 15 years so it was fun to reminisce, plus your humorous and informative commentary was great as well. looking forward to checking out your other videos!
Such a well put together series on DCA. First went there right after the renovations and fell in love with it. Cant say I’m a fan of the changes recently, especially once TOT was rethemed but great to look back on it.
2012 was the absolute best year for DCA. Whenever we go to Disneyland, I never want to go to DCA now. Its terrible. They should have left it the way it was until 2015. Oswald, Cars Land and Monsters Inc. are the only things I would go for. And that's not worth the price. Maybe if someone else pays.
2012 was peak DCA, radiator springs and buena vista street just opened, and the park was still California but also improving with immersive high quality attractions.

@@SlushysSecretthe best!
@@SlushysSecret 2012-2016 was DCA's Peak, I have to say I much prefer Grizzly Airfield to Condor Flats.
The berm problem is still my biggest problem with DCA....
Agreed, its jarring to see the Convention Center and power cables from Paradise Bay. Bad show when compared to Disneyland

This is so cool
I miss The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at DCA. 😢
Shame that the park is just a tacky IP dumping ground now. I have never visited the park and never plan to.
@@Snooziac you should! It’s great. I’ve spent the last 15 years of my life there.
