- It only takes 5 ingredients and about 30 minutes to put this super easy, amazingly delicious stromboli on the table! My family always raves over this one! The best part is you can also customize it with your family's favorite fillings. 👇

I never knew how to make this but thanks to you I can make it now 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Hope you’ll enjoy it!
This was delicious, quick, & easy!
Thank you for your simple way to do it .
Coming from a real Brooklyn NYC Born and Raised Italian where we make the BEST Italian food besides Italy. Accent alone your from out of town. My Recipe is Authentic and we have access to the best imported Italian Meats and Cheeses so I get it makes a world of a difference. Never ever use Pillsbury for this type or dish unless there is nothing else. I make my own dough or Ready Made AUTHENTIC DOUGH from a real Italian Supermarket. With what you have where you live definitely did not come out bad at all 👏 👏
I'm from Philadelphia, birthplace of the Stromboli, and this broke my heart
An excellent narrative @ visual delivery! 🎉 Thank you!
first attempt at this , i wanted a Greek style , spinach feta olives artichoke , your cooking method was just what i needed to see, thank you
Sounds great! Enjoy!
My wife and I tried the stromboli , we followed the directions and just added some olives...Fantastic !!!
Glad to hear y’all enjoyed it!
Super 👍
That Stromboli looks so freaking good 🤤
Thank you so much this was a pleasure to watch and so simple to make
Keeping it real maybe add some italian seasoning sprinkled on top or basil …also if you sprinkle flour on the board the dough doesn’t stick… i add parmesan cheese and garlic powder to a dough ball i buy from local pizzeria….im actually gonna try a puff pastry later for game to make calzones same ingredients
This is going to be so easy and good. I'm making it!
J Tutschulte Hope it turns out great for you!
Steak, peppers, onions & cheese. Excellent vid👍🏽
That’s the way to go!
I'll be making one of those for dinner, using leftovers from a muffaletta sandwich. A reuben stromboli sounds delicious.
I'm definitely going to try to make one today! Thanks for this simple recipe.
Hope you like it!
This looks really good and I can’t wait to try it. Thank you for sharing this video.
Your funny and entertaining love this 🥰
Thanks!
Super easy. TY
That's some next level grub.
Making it, tonight! Thank y'all!
Hope it turns out great for you!!
Doesn’t get any easier than this, I gotta try this recipe tonight!!!
Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for telling me THIN CRUST!
Will wax paper substitute for parchment paper? Enjoyed your vlog. Trying your recipe tonight👍
No, unfortunately they aren’t the same. Wax paper will melt and then burn in the oven.
"Y'all" got me to subscribe & stromboli.
Ha! Thanks and welcome!!
They got me too!
You can hear the crisp when he cut it 👍
We it looks so freakin good. Is it a bit dark on the bottom or was that just the camera? Is there a way to avoid that?
Bake it for less time and turn the oven down to 350 instead of 400.
Yeah, don't cook it on 400 and use an egg wash on top and sides. Cook slower @ 375 for 45 min. Won't be crispy and burnt 😩 on bottom!
making it now
Hope you enjoy it!
@@Southernbite it is great! I was a tad heavy on the oregano but that was on me...(i made my own sauce)
@@billclark6688 Glad it turned out great for you!
I’m going to try this, this weekend. I noticed the bottom of it was a little more done than I would like. Is there a way to prevent that?
Baking on a silicone baking mat might help.
Looked burnt on the bottom, but I still subbed cause it looked so easy!
You burned the bottom! Anyways, I always thought Stromboli didn't have pizza sauce as an ingredient, instead, it's used for a dipping sauce on the side. It might be easier to reheat like this though. If I was making it, I would probably just stick with pepperoni, but I would only put a light layer of cheese on top of the pepperoni, then do another layer of pepperoni followed by another layer of light cheese.
How come the cheese did not come out on top with those big slits?? The challenge is keeping the cheese inside when it bakes, espec when you only have cheese and sauce in the stromboli. Still came out great! Thanks
Hmmm… I’ve not ever had trouble with the cheese coming out the top like that. Is that what happened to you?
@@SouthernbiteYes! This time I added more ingredients and made the slit a bit smaller and it came out so much better.
Isn't the dough in the middle going to be raw and chewy?
If it is cooked correctly, no it shouldn't.
So its basically a Pizza Burrito
Sorry, but sauce doesn't go inside a stromboli.
@@IQRoadKing I talk about that in the blog post.
You burnt the bottom
The real Stromboli has the sauce on the side, not in it.
Agreed! Precisely why I never said this was "real" or "authentic." Just an easy way to get similar flavors.
Too burnt 😩 on bottom and too well done on top! 375 is a way better temperature 🌡️@ 40 min! I prefer a egg wash too on top!
Looks just how I like it.
That not a Stromboli opie
You burned the shit out of it. Oven was too hot.
It’s good. Thanks for the input, though.
U are not Italian
Lord, I'm so glad you told me.
You need to work on your folding technique
Ha! Well, trying to do it on camera with a limited amount of time can present a few challenges.
It’s a fail!! Looks horrible
What happened?
They probably didn’t even try to make it. The world is full of unhappy, miserable trolls and you know what they say about misery. There’s Not enough “o’s” in s-m-o-o-o-o-o-t-h to describe this!
We it looks so freakin good. Is it a bit dark on the bottom or was that just the camera? Is there a way to avoid that?
Thanks! Using a light colored pan combined with a silicone baking mat should certainly help.
