You are welcome J Yu :)
This is by far the best video out there explaining the train system....thank you
Thank you very much Mike, hope it helped!
Ending my Bangkok trip tomorrow, and just took the BTS today, it was a very good ride plus this video helped made me understood the BTS system a lot better.
Appreciate you for making this video, its really helpful!
Thanks you for enjoying the video!
Absolutely Outstanding
Thanks Drew 🙏
Thank you for making this.
Thanks this was useful
great video man
Thank you!
I watch this video from Bangladesh
Hi from Thailand!
@@Thailandto1 next month I will come to Thailand
Usually there will be at least one person blocking the door. It does not make sense because the first on must go way in to let more people enter. If you are last on you are nearer the door.
Thanks for sharing this valuable information, by the way does Thai BTS / MRT issue one day travel cards where you can purchase and use any line you wish to with any number of entries and exists.
If you have used London underground system then you know what I mean 🤔
Yes, the BTS do a one day pass for 150 Baht, the only catch is the "time limit" of 120 minutes in each area, meaning you will have to move on before the time limit. Not sure about the MRT system.
BTS one day pass official websites:- www.bts.co.th/eng/tickets/ticket-daypass.html
Thanks for the very interesting video.
I would like to know, once I have bought the subscription card and loaded the money, how much time I have left to use it.
I will stay in Bangkok for three months.
🙏Thank you
Hi, the money will stay on the rabbit member card with no date of expiration.
The only way you lose the money is if the rabbit card itself expires through a long period of time such as months of non use.
If there are any remaining value on your rabbit card before you leave Thailand, i would suggest getting a refund at the service counters.
Thank you for the video, it’s really helpful! I have some questions, If you have a rabbit card, do you just swipe it to enter and when you exit without having to put which station you want to go to in those computers?
I am coming with a friend, can we just buy 1 rabbit card and load it up and pass it back to each other to use right after one another?
Does the bts have two trains going opposite directions?
Thank you
you will need 2 different BTS cards for 2 people, as you can not tap the cards twice at the same station, after that you can top up a healthy amount, and then you don't have to use any machines/computers to pick stations
Would you recommend me eexchanging all my ccash from super ricch at the airport or are there better prices elsewhere outside the airport or phuket??
thanks Brother
Hi and thank you for sharing, great video about transportation! Much appreciated. Just a siede question. Can you actually do a kind of a round-trip on BTS any only pay when leaving the last station, or do you pay on each train change within the BTS? Thanks a lot and stay safe and healthy
Hi there . you can certainly do the round trip thing, and pay only at the last station you choose to leave at. You can even interchange between the 2 silom line and sukhumvit line without paying in between.
Hi There can you help please, I want travel from the airport to Big C imperial world Lat Phrao
You can also purchase a 1 day unlimited ride card for 150 baht.
Great and helpful vid. Just a word about some of the Thai words you pronounce: "saphan" is not pronounced "safan". It's pronounced with an aspirated "p". That's what the "h" is there for, to tell you it's the aspirated "p" (พ, ผ) rather than the unaspirated "p" (ป) sound. Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) or
ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ in Thai script is pronounced "tâa ākàat sàyāan Sù-wā-ná-phūum"
the diacritics I put above/around each Thai word syllable tell you what tone that syllable is pronounced with: ā= mid tone, ă= rising tone, â= falling tone, à= low tone, á= high tone. Double vowel letters like aa, ee, oo, tell you it's a long vowel sound (อา, อี, อู ,etc) whereas a single vowel letter: a, e, o (อั, อิ, อุ tell you it's a short vowel sound.
this might be a dumb question but when you go up the stairs how do you know which platform to line up at?
before you head upstairs onto the platforms, there will be signs showing which platform you should choose, depending which direction you are heading towards.
Really simple to navigate, the staff and security guards are always happy to help too :)
I'm planning to go to bangkok, i got a question, if i want to go from a station in sukhumvit line to a station in silom line, can i just buy the ticket directly or do i have to buy the ticket to siam station first
you can buy a single ticket for traveling between the Silom line and Sukhumvut lines. interchanging between both lines at Siam does not require exiting the station.
@@Thailandto1 Oh great, thanks for the information
Basically, we need to buy a SIM card before purchasing a Rabbit Card?
hey there, definitely not, if you mean you have to leave informations when getting the rabbit card, your passport info and email will suffice
you forgot the 2 monorails 2 commuter SRT lines and the purple and gold line
Hey there, you are right about the gold line, as for the other purple and srt lines, the bts company does not own them
K pop ?
Yes
@thailandto 😂
