TLDR: I think 50 lives would be more appropriate for 15 levels than 30. I like the idea of having no skips, but 30 lives for 15 levels is a little too difficult I think. Back in Mario Maker 1 you had 100 lives for 5 really difficult levels. Obviously here the difficult of the levels is random, but with 15 of them the probability of not getting at least one very difficult one is unreasonably low. With 50 lifes you would have more breathing room to beat the couple difficult ones you get and if it ends up too easy you can go lower in future iterations.
