If you'd told me a week ago, before I discovered this channel, that I'd spend about an hour or more every night watching sewage getting cleared out of blocked drains I's have said you were mad, yet here I am again....
No offense to the other fellows, but Jem seem to be the hardest working and most serious guy of the them all. Perhaps I just relate to his serious nature because I am the same way. But I respect that and, for what it's worth, I appreciate the attitude and professionalism.
@@scroggg I think that's what this plumber was trying to avoid, those tiny nozzles can go too far and into the toilet and smash it. I don't like those nozzles and would only use one of them to get through a blockage if a larger one like a root cutter wasn't getting through.
I saw your van in another video. It's soooo tidy! I really enjoy Drain Adict channel but good lord...he needs to organize his van! I really like your channel. It's good to see Great Britain. I lived there for 3 years and I miss it!
My neighbour tried jetting his own drain with a karcher drain jetter adapter hose, but he sent it too far up and it came out of the toilet and the metal nozzle smashed his toilet, he flooded his bathroom. I had to reboard and skim the room below the following day. Good job anyway guys well done .
just love the videos years ago I worked as a harben service engineer and loved how easy a jetting unit made unblocking a drain you must go through so much detergent
Jem hope you get the repair on this one the repair jobs are very interesting, a lot of people ignore what goes on below there feet but it’s all a complex system, loving the videos jem keep em coming .
Congratulation on finally solving the issue. I am curious why you didn't send the camera in to check the reason for the blockages. Possible broken pipe, roots or foreign body.
Good lord, it must stink like crazy with all those openings.....wow !! I understand it but that wouldn't fly here in the states. Our lines and clean outs are all underground and buried.......and a pain to clean out, where yours are much easier to get to........but DAMN.......it's got to smell !!! We never smell a thing until it's worked on !!
I'm guessing to minimize the smell a bit ? And to try to dissolve anything that might try to clump (Not sure how strong or what chemical he uses to disinfect soooooo can't really say if it is a real bonus/reason to use it)
Might be a coincidence, but when we last had the council rat catcher out, he put his bait onto a piece of wood like that across the manhole, as he said it was better to kill them outside the house than in.
*You can see in the 3rd and final go two big wads of something came out - I reckon someone flushed massive wads of paper down there, too much for the piping to handle*
do you need a qualification to do this or can you join fresh off the street and learn on the job, av always found this interesting and somthing I think I would take pride in getting a blockage cleared and clean.
I know you work to what you expect to see....but Brit plumbers seem to stop using the jet too early. And then get caught. Do the first jetting for longer, even after the blockage seems to move. It will pay off.
would of been first time lucky if you jet the line properly and not just the first blockage you come across, you've got all the equipment but its like you don't want to use it
The water pressures coming out of those jet nozzles will cut through some of today's plastic sewer laterals and mains that a clogged sewer will the be the least of someone's plumbing problems.
video reminds me of, a training video.talking about each step of the job clearly and the video carefully edited .Hope this trend continues, it .s a shitty subject but make's for better viewing compared to some..keep it up..
Scientists have said that the most difficult thing in the world to flush down a toilet bowl is a ping pong ball. This is due to its hollow, air tight centre. After seeing the wood in the manhole I believe the garden fence is more difficult!
Is the water pressure that horrible everywhere in the UK? I guess I'm spoiled but damn, i can piss faster than the faucet can fill the bucket. Great job on the unclogging 🙂👍
This was a real turd of clog hey!?! *Persistence; great job!* Suggestion? I understand it may not feasible every time, but a tripod would be great on many of your videos. Just edit out the video portion of the trips to the van while keeping the audio; then if necessary, describe what you need to do or did at the van, and do a "voiceover" as needed where the tripod is set up. Just a suggestion to let ppl see better w/o all the movement. Again *great job* and new subscriber.
1...2...3rd time lucky! This was a tricky one. What do you think of the up close shots? 👇
Get closer. I still don't smell anything... 🤣👍💩
Great closeups! Thanks

Haha! Me too ...I've never seen so much sh...t in my life!!! 😊
No offense to the other fellows, but Jem seem to be the hardest working and most serious guy of the them all. Perhaps I just relate to his serious nature because I am the same way. But I respect that and, for what it's worth, I appreciate the attitude and professionalism.
Why do people bother to dislike if you’ve come here to watch 🤷🏽♂️ good job guys 🙂😃
Thanks 😁
From the perspective of those two years it is adorable how Jem explains everything
Got to show appreciation of the brickwork in that manhole the arch over the pipe is perfect that guy definitely took pride in his work
That is why you always jet the whole line regardless of if you think you got the plug or not. So you don't have to do 3 tries to be sure.
That's why these videos are great to show people who dont know what to and what not to do 👍 perfect jetting video footage here 👌
Have you ever sent the high pressure hose too far and ended up in the toilet?
@@scroggg I think that's what this plumber was trying to avoid, those tiny nozzles can go too far and into the toilet and smash it. I don't like those nozzles and would only use one of them to get through a blockage if a larger one like a root cutter wasn't getting through.
Get paid by the hour mate 😉
Job security..... The dirty way... I 1000000% agree with you on this. Do the damned job right the first time.

I can only imagine what his wife had to say about that xD
His wife went absolutely ballistic! This happened during lockdown as well, so finding a toilet wasn’t easy either.
@@countrywiderepairs8674 I'm on the bucket...
Haha that’s a disaster 🤣
You literally could not pay me enough to make me do this work 😅 I'm glad there are people like you who are willing and able, because I am neither
Just wondering if you flush the outlet on the other side it looked a little plugged up
just love the videos years ago I worked as a harben service engineer and loved how easy a jetting unit made unblocking a drain
you must go through so much detergent
Boxes of the stuff!!!
4:37 the magic yellow hose reels itself in! 😂😂
It disappears all on its own 😂
Brilliantly done! Your partner handling the camera makes a world of difference. Hopefully you can do this from now on. Great job on those blockages.
Thanks! Will do!
Great unblock👍🏻 give that cameraman a pay rise !
Definitely...attenborough would be proud!!
Great video. I’m from the US and live watching you and the boys. Thank you so sharing with us.
You guys do a great job and it’s good to see someone who takes pride in a job well done. Keep up the good work lads! W
Excellent job, the best drain unblock videos on TH-cam! Great camera work as well 😀
Glad you liked it!
Is that Jem? Glad to see his face finally!! Great vídeo, and very well explained, as always! 👍👍👍💜💜
Yes it was!
Hi was the drain on the left side the next doors. As seamed to still be blocked. Bill
Henry(I hope i got his name right) did an excellent job with the camera!!! Great job guys. Awesome video!!
Awesome video! Great at explaining and satisfying cleaning video. 10/10 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! 👍
I agree
You guys always, always do a thorough job. Very professional. And you work in difficult circumstances.
Jem hope you get the repair on this one the repair jobs are very interesting, a lot of people ignore what goes on below there feet but it’s all a complex system, loving the videos jem keep em coming .
Well done 👏 that was a clog! Stay safe! 3rd times a charm ✨ (sometimes)
Great job on the stoppage..i see you have a new helper on hand today
Ridiculously satisfying
Brilliant footage! Watching this whilst having a poo.... double satisfaction!💩💩👌👍👍
That view wow I don't know what to say only one thing about eating supper now lol great job to all of you"s and office staff
0:39 I like the little arch theyve made with the bricks on the wall inside the manhole over the drain pipes.
Good closeups, fine work.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for adding a cameraman. He'll get better at keeping us where the action is
Dont think they could have got much better here! Perfect from start to finish!
Amazing work, my granddad was a plumber. Loved going out and giving him a hand when I was allowed.
That's great!
Always do a flush test before you wrap up your jet hose 😁😁 2nd time you had to walk bk for the hose and gun 😁😁 practice makes perfect guys
You know it's good when the boss is here.
One of those pipes was still shitty when you were done!
Great job to day as always
Great vid lads extra pair of hands on the camera makes a difference and that drain pipe definitely needs resealing
A question, please. The jetter at 03:30 is it sucking or blowing (air/water)?
Great job guys, 🎉 the pipe to the left was till full of 💩, why didn’t you clean that one too?
@Drain unblockers, love the Merseyside accents!!!
All good !
Congratulation on finally solving the issue. I am curious why you didn't send the camera in to check the reason for the blockages. Possible broken pipe, roots or foreign body.
Well done lads, major backup there, serious shit lol.
Nothing like watching a toilet drain unblocking... Whilst sat blocking up the work toilet for good measure 😂
100% perfect carma work. Great job
Does pouring disinfectant down the sanitary system mess with any of the microbs at the treatment facility?
Wow thats rank but i cant stop watching😂 take my hat off to u boys fanastic job 👍
It's highly satisfying to see the flow… _GO!_
well done JEM, the expert !! NOT , all chat no clue.
nic old brick work don there ................old fashion craftmanship
that was a stubborn one , perseverance pays off
Now that's SHATISFACTION 😂🤦♂️
Very good work 👍😀
Many thanks
Job well done .

Jesus she's well chogged great video and belting close ups of the drains
Your new camera man is on target for us
Ive been wondering why you pour the disinfectant in - does it dissolve fat?
No it kills the smell, And cleans the area
Good lord, it must stink like crazy with all those openings.....wow !! I understand it but that wouldn't fly here in the states. Great job! I love the “gushes” of poop lol (I know, gross)
I can smell the so delicate perfume from France !
10:53, is that Craig from the 1st or 2nd Big Brother?
Good job! Why use disinfectant in the manhole?
I'm guessing to minimize the smell a bit ? And to try to dissolve anything that might try to clump (Not sure how strong or what chemical he uses to disinfect soooooo can't really say if it is a real bonus/reason to use it)
Somebody had to go real bad man a big one now . A huge dumper
Whose the bloke loitering by the truck and why?
Why don’t you clean the branch on the left?
You mention satisfaction? It's almost as satisfying as when you've been after being constipated for days.
lol, why you not letting the jet go all the way?
Might be a coincidence, but when we last had the council rat catcher out, he put his bait onto a piece of wood like that across the manhole, as he said it was better to kill them outside the house than in.
That reminds me. I must get some peanut butter tomorrow.
Whilst you were unblocking, did it not occur to you to unclog the left-hand side as that was also partially blocked?
I thought the very same thing, might be me but he seemed to be in a bit of a hurry to finish this one.
Thanks for explaining exactly what you are looking for!😊
Glad it was helpful!
If you'd slow down, runn the jetter hose throughly through the pipe, you'd save so much time, water, wasted disinfectant, and energy.
I have no idea why Adrej writes in German, but he says that Putin says you did a good job.....😅
So,,Keep it up and stay safe...
*You can see in the 3rd and final go two big wads of something came out - I reckon someone flushed massive wads of paper down there, too much for the piping to handle*
Why are you not unlocking the pipe on the left too
It was not blocked

Thanks for the feedback, we will continue like this!
Scientists have said that the most difficult thing in the world to flush down a toilet bowl is a ping pong ball.
This is due to its hollow, air tight centre.
After seeing the wood in the manhole I believe the garden fence is more difficult!
why would you not ask the person on the house on the left to do a flushing also?
because they didn't pay to have there drains unblocked,
Is the water pressure that horrible everywhere in the UK? I guess I'm spoiled but damn, i can piss faster than the faucet can fill the bucket.
Great job on the unclogging 🙂👍
Varies but not that badly, the attachment for the hosepipe doesn't help in this case.
Man the home sewage systems must be really ancient over there nothing like it here in the States...
Thanks 6
Not sure why so conservative at jetting the length of the pipe like other jetters.
This was a real turd of clog hey!?! *Persistence; great job!* Suggestion? I understand it may not feasible every time, but a tripod would be great on many of your videos. Satisfaction. Just like taking a big ole Crap. Lol
That is crazy
It's only happening because you are recording it :)
I quite often disinfect my poo before I flush the toilet to send it on to the sewage works nice and clean
Rare footage of my dad unclogging the pipes after I eat spicy foods.........
Ive often wondered what that craig guy of big brother was up to these days.
You hired Jos from Drain Addict?? 😊
We hired Henry 😊
What you should do is put dye in cust wc then when you jet you know you fully cleared it when dye comes through instead of 3rd time lucky 😂
7:32 useful advice to learn
I farted during the video. Smell-a-vision is real.
