This game was amazing. This game needs more attention. It kinda makes me mad that a lot of TH-camrs just play the tutorial and clickbait it as Undertale x FNF then never touch it again. This game is so much more and deserves so much more.
Honestly feisty flowers is my favorite track for several reasons. He is wearing a literal clay pot on his head the ENTIRE battle, how unexpected this boss fight is, and the ABSOLUTE BANGER of a track
This small 10 dollar game I bumped into on new and trending on steam was probably the best 10 dollars spent on a video game. As someone who wishes to become a game developer someday and has some experience with it I can say with confidence a LOT of work was put into this. From the sprites and the very talented people who worked on the music and all the hard work coding to get such a cool game in the end. Seriously love this game 10/10.
If I had a nickel for every time a guy made out of blue cubes has an awesome battle and music, I would have two nickels. Which is only 10 cents but it's weird it happened twice
I don't know about favorite SONG (still definitely a top 10 tho) but it's absolutely my favorite FIGHT in the game. The absolutely speratic and jamming music that feels like it would instantly kill everyone over the age of 75 mixed with the never ending flood of projects this guy gives you as he electrical discharges the entire of New York's power grid on you and hearing the vocals echo out from the chaos is just the cherry on top. REALLY difficult, but an total joy to experience.
i really love it, the ultimate hype would be if RetroSpecter makes a mashup between this one and "hopes and dreams - undertale", they could sound so good together.
A god literally telling you to end the cycle of immortality and free everyone while everything around you is crumbling. It is sad, it's like putting a rabid dog out of it's misery.
i love how it plays the emotional and exciting farewell, the final battle of the game, and then it just cuts to Neko Soup truly the best soundtrack of 2021
Euthanasia Rollercoaster just hits you right in the soul during during your first ever experience and it still hits the same when you come back a couple more times, being in the _moment_ , confused and knowing everything is concluding in that section and couple that with fitting theme and soundtrack which brews a bittersweet and melancholic feel at the same time, hats off to the dev team who made this piece of a hidden gem come to fruition. I sincerely hope this gets the amount of traction it deserves whenever what caused it to blow up in the future.
I wish there was an extendes version of Euthanasia Rollercoaster on YT that incorporated the stuttered and broken loops in a way that feels natural, like it does in the game

I still don’t see squat for the title theme that is also played in the Mirror of Truth. There is zero clips on youtube or spotify, or anywhere that plays “Another Mirror”
Every song is an absolute gem, but "In a Special Place" holds a special place in my heart. Not many people talk about it since it's only for *one specific location*, but it's just extremely soothing. . . Like all of the tribulations and struggles are finally over, and you can now relax, and sink into the trippy, groovy abyss. You're finally free. (well, almost. There's still one more amazing boss battle theme to drill into your head like an earworm. Seriously, it's so catchy AND emotional.)
Such an amazing soundtrack to go with an even more amazing game. Nothing has blown my mind as much since Undertale, and in a lot of ways, this was a lot more profound. Really made me think about a lot of things. Huge thanks to Chris, Jordi, and everyone else that made this masterpiece.
I can thank GOG for advertising this to me in an email one fateful day a month after its release. I was interested in the pixel art, but I stayed for literally everything else. This is a masterpiece, and I can't wait for the sequel. Amazing job Everhood crew!

The reason why people compare this game to Undertale is simply because this game has a very special and unique atmosphere. Everhood gave me a unique experience throughout, and the story, graphics, and music all contribute to that. But more importantly, the message sends is really strong. This is the most underrated game of 2021 that I've played, and the OST is just incredible. This game is a masterpiece and rarely has a game made me feel so much. the reason i compare this to undertale is because they have the same font, also similar themes about mercy/killing and such. other than that they're completely different

Everhood has one of the best soundtracks in my opinion. Even without the outsourced music it's still so good. I hope I can hear way more original music in the sequel, it's what really made the game what it is!

In the sea of releases of 2021, this still ended up as my favourite. The work and passion that went into making this wonderful experience is high and I have so much respect for everyone who contributed.

god, when i got into bubblegum road, i was freaking out, I didn't know what to do, and the music was so nerving. I though i had gotten into a joke softlock, like "haha, we told you not to trust the fairies, git gud". the music still freaks me out, and makes it hard to breath, even when I'm only listening to it through this video.
(Spoilers) Bubblegum Road to me sparks a kind of loss of innocence, and I think it's no coincidence that Gold Pig retreats there after his initial defeat. I think it may be the location that Gold Pig originated from prior to accepting so many of the gems, and if each gem takes away a sensory perception, Gold Pig had five gems.. He had nothing left, he had given up /everything/ in pursuit away from the angst of immortality, and this utterly jaded his perceptions, causing him to become the cruel and selfish being he is in this universe. He says as much as being happy to not have to worry about the things he's done or people he's met at the end, finally relieved his anxiety is over. At least that's how I viewed finding him there, perhaps he just ran off and this was a place nobody thought he'd be found in given the rather soft contrast to its environment and his personality, but I do strongly believe he had emotional connection to the location, and in the game the track starts off faded and floating in before really hitting its main body, giving the notion of discovery, of peering into a place that hadn't been observed in some time. Really the game is just an invocative masterpiece of emotion.
This game hasn't been on my steam recommendation at all, even though I have been interested in this genre, steam still hasn't recommended this amazing game to me, so we can see there are so much optimization needed for the steam recommendation system.
You Want Gnomes had to be my favorite battle to fight, especially when I did it for the first time I also rlly like Euthanasia Coaster because of the song
My favourite track is euthanasia rollercoaster, tho I only don't like the fact that it's split onto 3 parts cause it kinda makes it hard to merge it and even merging then it sounds like it just cuts into another part which sounds weird, although the ost is really good, best ost for a game I have ever heard
I just adore Euthanasia Rollercoaster. I don't know what it is, but I hear it, I realize it's the end, and yet, I just want to vibe until it's over with a smile on my face. I love this game, it truly is an experience.

I loved that song so much I secured the number one spot on the leaderboards for 2 months on the Farewell battle
Euthanasia Rollercoaster just hits you right in the soul during during your first ever experience and it still hits the same when you come back a couple more times, being in the _moment_ , confused and knowing everything is concluding in that section and couple that with fitting theme and soundtrack which brews a bittersweet and melancholic feel at the same time, hats off to the dev team who made this piece of a hidden gem come to fruition.
I sincerely hope this gets the amount of traction it deserves whenever what caused it to blow up in the future.
I wish there was an extendes version of Euthanasia Rollercoaster on YT that incorporated the stuttered and broken loops in a way that feels natural, like it does in the game

Every song is an absolute gem, but "In a Special Place" holds a special place in my heart. Not many people talk about it since it's only for *one specific location*, but it's just extremely soothing. . . Like all of the tribulations and struggles are finally over, and you can now relax, and sink into the trippy, groovy abyss. You're finally free. (well, almost. There's still one more amazing boss battle theme to drill into your head like an earworm. Seriously, it's so catchy AND emotional.)

I can thank GOG for advertising this to me in an email one fateful day a month after its release. I was interested in the pixel art, but I stayed for literally everything else. This is a masterpiece, and I can't wait for the sequel. Amazing job Everhood crew!

The reason why people compare this game to Undertale is simply because this game has a very special and unique atmosphere. Everhood gave me a unique experience throughout, and the story, graphics, and music all contribute to that. But more importantly, the message sends is really strong.
This is the most underrated game of 2021 that I've played, and the OST is just incredible. This game is a masterpiece and rarely has a game made me feel so much.

Everhood has one of the best soundtracks in my opinion. Even without the outsourced music it's still so good. I hope I can hear way more original music in the sequel, it's what really made the game what it is!

god, when i got into bubblegum road, i was freaking out, I didn't know what to do, and the music was so nerving. I though i had gotten into a joke softlock, like "haha, we told you not to trust the fairies, git gud". the music still freaks me out, and makes it hard to breath, even when I'm only listening to it through this video.
the devs are Fun to talk to also pretty mischiveous on the game... a lot of questionable things...
(Spoilers) Bubblegum Road to me sparks a kind of loss of innocence, and I think it's no coincidence that Gold Pig retreats there after his initial defeat. I think it may be the location that Gold Pig originated from prior to accepting so many of the gems, and if each gem takes away a sensory perception, Gold Pig had five gems.. He had nothing left, he had given up /everything/ in pursuit away from the angst of immortality, and this utterly jaded his perceptions, causing him to become the cruel and selfish being he is in this universe. He says as much as being happy to not have to worry about the things he's done or people he's met at the end, finally relieved his anxiety is over.
At least that's how I viewed finding him there, perhaps he just ran off and this was a place nobody thought he'd be found in given the rather soft contrast to its environment and his personality, but I do strongly believe he had emotional connection to the location, and in the game the track starts off faded and floating in before really hitting its main body, giving the notion of discovery, of peering into a place that hadn't been observed in some time. Really the game is just an invocative masterpiece of emotion.
I love this music! Especially Tinnitus Dance, You Want Gnomes, Why Oh You Are LOVE, and The Final Battle.
