I have been to Milestones a few times before. I think I remember seeing a Station building with a model railway inside. Milestones is an amazing place to go to and I'd recommend it myself too!
My Dad started his working career as a lad in the Portsmouth Tram Depot. It was a favourite to use the cut-off leftovers from beading the windows as a form of catapult - hold one end, pull the other, and let go almost together.
I’ve had some ideas for train related places I would like to go this summer, but I haven’t got started just yet. Last thing I did was visit the NRM (or at least half of it), and I enjoyed seeing Boxhill on display again.
I remember when Woolmer and "Austerity" Waggoner were side by side at the Beverley Museum of Army Transport. At least Waggoner is in active service on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
When you're local council is a massive modeler, so thay get a model town in 1:1 scail 🤣

Taskers also manufactured cast iron plates for the Hampshire Road milestones, hence the name of this excellent museum
It's basically a 1:1 scale model town!
