The security time saved on water taxis is a game changer... worth the wait for the boat. (Walking also has its own security) Avoiding the main security hub is always advised. The main security hub can be outrageous.
It can definitely be long depending on how busy the parks are!
Totally the water taxis. Who cares about speed when it's a freakin boat ride? You never know, coming from Cincinnati, the luxury of getting on a boat just to get Starbucks. Lav Life!!!!!

As I said in another video, the Garden Walk is a longer path to take from Cabana to the park then Hollywood Way, and it is just as safe. I stead of crossing the bridge to the garden wall, take the ramp down instead, that leads to Hollywood Way, which is a much more direct path to CityWalk than the Garden Walk, plus it puts you in the same spot.

Water taxi always! We usually walk back from Universal (not Islands) to hard rock, but first thing in the morning, those water taxi views are beautiful. Y'all are brave for this one 😅 also, I'm a new sub and I'm loving your channel! I had been watching some Pugh Two and TH-cam recommended me your videos and they haven't disappointed. I've been going to universal for years, but I'm binging some videos for my next trip, and you can never learn too much about these parks. Thank you!

I love the morning walk on the walking paths and water taxis back in the evening. That walk from Endless summer looks brutal! Not just the time but all the traffic 😬. I switched our resort back to Royal Pacific from Portifino (too much construction for me right now) I like that it’s closer too! The only downfall for Sapphire Falls, which I love that resort! Is all the people that use the water taxi from the other resorts.
It was a long walk for sure! Yeah the construction is front and center right now! We are excited to see how it looks when they are done!

@@fudge_factor The stella luna and stella nova hotels are supposed to open in january and february of next year closer to epic. These will be the prime value hotels on the same level as cabana bay and aventura. Helios I'm assuming will be the premier value at epic.

My first trip to universal one of the best "discovery" was how close and easy the water taxi was. The security check point was fast and no fuss. Not to mention it was so relaxing and fun.
I had to take the shuttle one time cause the weather was horrible, the water taxi won't go during rainstorms. But the shuttle was so clean and easy to use. Not a bad second.
There is no way I'd walk..this New Yorker is not used to that Florida heat and humidity in September. I may have gotten so heat stroke and saw jesus..lol.
The modes are great and pretty straight forward! That's a great point about the water taxis!

This has nothing to do with the speed, but the experience. I enjoyed staying at Dockside, but once I got to stay at Aventura and take the taxis, I'll never go back to just having the bus as my travel option. I love the water taxis, but I also enjoy the beautiful walk from Aventura. I got to experience the walk after there was a delay in the taxis and I didn't want to wait to check in for the OI event.

Great idea for a vid. Wiat times for the transportation is a factor. We usually walk Because we eat so much junk food. Try to find that balance.

I generally will walk in the morning from Hard Rock or Royal Pacific and then water taxi back at the night time. Just cause I love the water taxi. It’s not always conducive in the morning as the wait is long so it is definitely much faster to walk in the a.m. Thanks so much for all the hard work that went into this one. So much fun.😊😊

The Palm or Bice would be our choices. Bice has some great Italian food and the Palm is a super nice steakhouse. Either would be great options

Back in January. Portofino bays construction is pretty front and center right now. Most the east wing has scaffolding and tarps on the facade

I will be staying at the Royal Pacific and looking to maximize my early park access. Does the water shuttle really only start at 7:30?
Great idea! EPA is great to get a lot done! Water taxis start 1 hour prior to early park admission
If you are staying at another hotel, can you take a water taxi from a different hotel?
Yes! You can!
Love the water taxi, but I swear it's always a 15 minute wait for it. I think I just have bad luck!
You can almost be in the parks with that amount of waiting!
As far as speed goes it's walking for me. it takes me 5 mins the get from Royal Pacific into City Walk. plus I also count the time it takes me from when I arrive to the shuttle or water taxi line not once i get on the taxi or shuttle as well as the time it takes to get through security in city walk. so with that being said id always walk because security is easier to get through that way
We probably walk 90% of the time also! It's just so easy and quick! Except for Endless Summer lol. We won't be making that walk again lol.
