Thanks for all the support. With all of this recent snow fall, I'm thinking it may be a while before I shed hunt up here. Grand county is on my radar for a February/March trip. If you know some Friday's that you'll have off from work, I'll try to plan it around that. We can also just hit some local spots once we get some bare ground.
Good review. Sounds like this one could be good for close up locations like a bird feeder or chicken coop location. Fun to see the deer on the mountain with the other camera. Have a great day.

Bummer about the G100 not preforming as it should. I have had several companies reach out to me to offer products for review and I tell them up front that the review I do will be honest, good or bad and I know you are exactly the same in that regard. Very disappointing that they asked you not to do a review if it was going to be bad. I appreciate your honesty but would expect nothing less. Trust is definitely earned …especially after it has been betrayed. I personally have to think on this one and make a decision to reach out to a once good friend who I had written off due to a situation that destroyed our friendship. We are separated by many miles and I don’t know if it’s worth the effort but the fact that I think about him often makes me think it might be. Thanks John.

Great honest testing and review John, that is so odd that that camera wasn't picking up anything unless you were right on it ...the first one definitely had crisp footage of the deer. Appreciate the honesty.

Nice review, and completely agree that it is always better to provide and honest review instead of getting caught in the trap of giving a favorable review just because it was free. I had high hopes for it considering how well my G300 has performed, but I was also somewhat put off by the white flash, especially on public land.

Tough spot to be in but I respect that you did the hard, right thing. They should have just sent you another one if they thought it was detective. Incredible stunning spot where you had it as well. To bad it didn't perform.

Too bad this particular camera didn’t work well. We have a trail cam that we use around the house, mostly to see what animals are visiting overnight. I’d love to get one that takes nice video, our just takes still photos. We don’t hunt so we haven’t put one out for an eagles “ trail” camera test. Thanks! 👌👍👍

7:25, they were sure curious about the camera. Looks like it takes good video. Cameras have come along so far over the years. Regarding the sensitivity, are there any settings you can adjust to help pick up things? Hmm.. nvm you went through the troubleshooting... maybe just cheap/bad quality. Bummer!
There is a setting for the IR sensor, but I had it on the most sensitive. I wonder if they sent me a return and it was just a bum camera.
That spot looks like good hunting though!

I like how small the cameras are, but I agree that they did not perform very well. In case you didn’t know, new TH-cam rules say that we must now click on “includes paid promotion” when reviewing products sent to you. We can end up with a strike if we don’t.

Man that is a bummer that it wasn't picking up an deer action. The camera itself looks nice and it so small. I hate it didn't work.

What is the life of the batteries? Best setting?
I'm sure it would depend upon the temperatures. In most of my trail cameras, they'll go months on a single set of batteries. I only had this one out for about two weeks total between the testing I did on the mountain and the testing in my backyard.
Man that’s pretty unfortunate about your camera brother and like you I don’t agree with them telling you to not do the video. If anything they should have asked if you would be interested in using a different camera incase it just was a faulty camera. I know I’ve had a great experience with my 300 but you never know about what you’re getting with every different product from companies, some could be great products some could be bad. Anyways thanks for your honest review I really appreciate it and hope they reach back out to you after they see your video.
