I saw Jefferson Airplane in Chicago in the late 60's and it was great... and Warpaint is just as great NOW! Both bands are like going down the proverbial rabbit hole.
I remember being at HMV when it was around and saw this record am like when did they release a new album bought right away I played this record more then there other albums album is a masterpiece
It’s so good. The last time I saw them play live it felt like we had all just had a s*xual experience but not in a gross or perverted way. It was truly transcending.
I don't know the last time a band, especially females, literally shocked me.. it's really badass. So bizarre. Like a hot, happy Radiohead. 🌸 Hi Madison Beer.
A year later and I can't think of an answer, so I won't tell you that they aren't at least one of the best alt rock bands in the world. There was a period of a few to several years , maybe 2011 to 2014 where they had to be in the conversation of one of the elite psychedelic improv jam bands. Lots of grateful dead influence except faster, heavier, more modern and, just I'm my opinion, much better, and I love the dead and saw them a few times. I'm not going to argue with deadheads who would be appalled at what I just said because it's just my opinion, and WP has some punk/first wave influence too (especially starting in 2014 when you could hear the cure in a lot if their stuff). I still love WP's newer stuff, it's just a more ambient pop than jam band now
so cool..you all said nothing...your all really pretty..what would Perry Farrell think of you?...nothing..pretty..yeah for sure...and...youll be happy with that..

Great job ladies,the best.paul
Em losing the mic at 32:40 is a nice moment
Anton Hengst the fact that she sings “waiting for silence to come in” right before makes it even better
Tribal, ethereal, trance inducing beauty that is sometimes off key and it works
Shut the fuck up.
Sometimes off key is right on....
