sir i hv a doubt in tyu 11 question is asking cash generated from operations but u hv done cashflow from operating activities and these two hv different formulas ???
Sir clear about Asset disposal Account Is this part income statement or balance sheet item? Because we will creat new account after disposal of fixed asset Where we will creat this disposal account?
if it's Accrued income then I think it will have opening Dr balance but if it's pre paid income then it will be opening Cr balance.. but the account you made is of what?
Sir, one doubt. In the direct method, interest paid is taken and subtracted as operating activity. But in indirect method, interest paid is added back for the reason it is financing activity. So don't we need to include interest paid in preparing financing activity using indirect method?! But not in direct method because it's already subtracted at operating part?!
interest recievable is a current asset or income? sir your interest receivable account is quite confusing..... interest recieved is income and when income increases it will be credit then how opening balance of interest recieved goes in debit side ???
Sir, I am very greatfull to you i have little bit confusing on treatment of interest paid on indirect method. it is so confussing and i am not able to relate why it is deducted while calculating net cash flow from operating activities and why it is ignored while calculating cash generated form operating activities sir please help me
@@akber7652not its not Its a normal expense account and the reason of it being credited is because if you make a T account for expense account, the charge for the year comes on the credit side. Yes you can Add it in the operating cost as well and not purchases. Basically we have to calculate operating cost.
Sir for preparing cash flow statement, is it necessary to learn both the methods direct and indirect or understanding direct method will be enough.

Sir clear about Asset disposal Account
Is this part income statement or balance sheet item?
Because we will creat new account after disposal of fixed asset
Where we will creat this disposal account?
Disposal account never has a closing balance. So it means it will notcome anywhere
37:48 Sir income ka opening balance to credit hoga na? According to the rule Dr all expenses and losses and Cr all income and gains?
if it's Accrued income then I think it will have opening Dr balance but if it's pre paid income then it will be opening Cr balance.. but the account you made is of what?

sir doing mistake basically interest expense added to in operating activities and less interest paid (Indirect method)
interest recievable is a current asset or income? sir your interest receivable account is quite confusing..... interest recieved is income and when income increases it will be credit then how opening balance of interest recieved goes in debit side ???
as per ACCA terms and conditions we record interest receivables as an ASSET not in the income side
