Las Hurdes, tierra sin pan.
Creo interesante sacar a la luz una vez más, el tremendo y polémico documental de Luis Buñuel.
“Las Hurdes, tierra sin pan, de Luis Buñuel, no sólo es una crónica social de una crudeza sin paragón, en un país que no conocía la existencia de lugares olvidados, sino también, un instrumento didáctico, que aunque alarmó a las autoridades, perseguía un buen fin”

Es la primera vez ke beo esto y a hora solo nos kegamos de todo debemos ser más umanos con nuestro pueblo por eso somos españoles

Phew! ... Of course there are still places like that today, and maybe there always will be.I've certainly seen similar, though perhaps not currently so desparate in the Himalayas. But the harsh conditions humans have consistantly found themselves in are made all the more tragic by comparisons in time and space, and of course fortune and the distortions of commerce. It looked to me like the peasants had been abandoned by both church and nation after some change in the fortunes of Spain, presumably after the loss of the Spanish Americas and the wealth it brought in. Many parts of the Alps and the Eastern Europe Highlands, the Northern Isles of Scotland and parts of the Mainland Highlands itself had similar communities hanging on by their fingernails well into the late 30's... And it wouldn't take much to put us all back there once the power goes off eh? An amazing film, that back then must have taken some guts and nerve to make.
