For Q!? I don't know man, the parry mechanic makes spacing just plain bad. Pierrot i just good at it
Q can get his taunts in without taking much damage from Remy. The matchup is damn near even because of that
It’ll be a tough matchup if your parry game isn’t 95%+ .
If you can parry all those sonic booms you’ll force remy to come in closer to try and do some damage.
If he notices you can’t parry for beans i can guarantee you he will stay full screen throwing frisbees.
Remy does very low damage and Q can just parry his sonic booms. I’d say it’s about even

It's an incredibly awkward input...I think there's a different tech now that's like qcb, hcf, hcb p~k something super wacky but I guess it's more consistent

Like I know it's punishable if you whiff it, but do you really just have to play fullscreen vs him or constantly throw out attacks?
As remy thats basically your game. you can see him parry a lot of those sonic booms and also block/eat a lot of them as well.
Remy, like Q, has some trash normals but also some really good ones.
Q being the tallest/largest makes him most susceptible to juggles so you’re going to have to capitalize on that and use every tool in your arsenal.
Q on the other hand doesn’t really have that many cancellable moves or normals so as a Q player you basically are waiting the whole match for that one opportunity to get your damage in, because if you don’t it’s basically a slow death.
That’s for normal people.
Insane people who can kara c&db have a large expansion to their range.

All the recent street fighters try to bring back the parrying of 3s but they can’t even compare.
Too many newbie friendly mechanics involved.

I hate Remy.
Also, sa2 is the wrong super for Q to choose against Remy.
I mean he did find the UOH setup for it, if he did the motion properly Remy would've taken like 65% at least
Also, what does SA1 let you do vs Remy? I feel like you don't get many opportunities to use EX/super in this matchup, plus SA2 lets you link off jump normals
@@joeschmoe4376 Sa1 allows you to go through fireballs at certain ranges. However, considering the fact that you get very few chances to get in aginst Remy, SA2 is still a very viable choice due to its burst damage.
Also SA1 and 2 can link off of jump normals.
Also also UOH > SA1 can work it's just a lot tighter.
