i dont even know why sam was eliminated in roti but all stars we didnt see sam put the pancake crumbs in his pockets plus he was scared he had to go to boney island plus he did the obstacle course before alejandro did
The writing in TDAS was the worst. In terms of Sam's elimination episode, he cheated so he had something to eat on Boney Island. But the reason he was their in the first place was because he volunteered to do so (after his abyssal challenge performance in that episode).
Sam was a casting headscratcher for All-Stars, but I assumed he made the cast for character development. I was disappointed that he was an early out again. What was the point?
My favorite Sam moment is when the log came out of nowhere and just smashed his NUTS, leaving him suspended in the air - legs spread with all his weight on his kiwis.
Sam literally was doing so well in Revenge of the Island and actually made it to the Sasquatch, yet he got eliminated once he got knocked off even though he did the best out of all of them, the other guys should’ve been trying to vote each other
I think it was meant to be Owen, but I think writers thought that having Owen be 4th eliminated would be bad. Beca7se Sam is written like Action Owen. Also If I had a nickel for every time, Sam is eliminated for a dumb reason I‘d have it to Nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
@@HJartANDgamming If they needed equal OG and Revenge rep, I imagine Brick was supposed to be Sam's spot, but didn't think of a way to make Brick early fodder or cheat.
I really hate how they never try to develop an underdog story line with both ROTI and especially All Stars. Unpopular opinion, but I think Sam wasn’t a bad choice for All Stars. He did make it decently far in the pre-merge, and he could’ve definitely had a story ark in All Stars. If I was writing him, I would make him make merge and get 7th or 6th place.
His elimination in Allstars after he won it for the team was forced and unsatisfying. If it was Owen the writers wouldn't have screwed him over like that.
The thing I hate about his eliminations is how predictable they are. You KNOW he’s getting the boot once he really shows his potential. When I first saw his All-Stars elimination episode, I knew it seemed to good to be true that Alejandro may have been the one going home in episode four. And I was right.
Well, it because according to the rules of the pancake game, all players must eat a piece of the giant pancake, then compete in the obstacle course, but of course Sam cheated by keeping a couple of small pieces in his pocket in case he had to go back to boney island, where I'm guessing there's no good food to eat, unless YOU'RE The food. Because despite the show known for nearly killing their players, the rules had to be followed.
I really wish they gave Sam more potential especially in all stars. Revenge of the island I think it would be really cool if Sam made the merge and stuff but of course the writers did him dirty

Realistically, I don't see why Sam got out in TDAS. If they're gonna bring a not-all star into the all star season, at least develop them like the premergers in DCAS, don't just kick them out again right as soon as you can. In a better world Cameron obviously would've voted Sierra, and in this one, Mike and Zoey would want to help their buddy out so even if Sierra and Duncan voted Sam, Sierra gets eliminated. Don't get me wrong, I like Sierra, but she's ass in this season since there's no Cody and she doesn't have the same charm as she did in TDWT. Besides, there were just two ROTI contestants eliminated and they'd want to balance it out with a Gen 1 contestant. Even if Sam got more development to the point where he could leave in episode 7, that would be fine. TDAS development is always rushed so theoretically they could just eliminate him in episode 6 and then have Heather get booted in episode 7.
He does the best out of the team, yet somehow it's considered “costing the challenge”
