Nice rideee, mechanical disk brakes are easier to repair and adjust, same with the belt thing, no gears also great for very low maintenance and you can always walk the steep climbs. Have you ever seen someone with a big bike like an xc or enduro bike? ive always been curious what would a mountainbiker living on a sailboat would look like. btw the tubes are probably fine its normal to loose air over some weeks. But consider gettin spare tubes anyways, its a good practice to have at least two and a repair kit (i think a small one could fit inside that bike even) thats patches and glue.
i like this idea. i wanna take my little 1971 Honda CT90 with me once i get my boat, it weighs less than 200 lbs. only problem is i eventually plan on moving to the Philippines, and they charge the craziest import taxes on vehicles... so i might end up having to go with a bike, then buy a motorcycle once i get there, unfortunately.
Neat bike. I like the form factor but I would still prefer a regular mt. bike for exploring. It would however be more maintenance and more bulky to drag around.
Nope, I bought a Honda CT 125 and made a harness so I can wear it like a backpack when getting it on and off the boat. I will be able to do food delivery gig jobs with it, and in an emergency get myself from the Mediterranean home to Sweden 🇸🇪
That is English Harbor, not Governors Harbor. Everything that is too far to walk is a dinghy ride. You can even park your dinghy at the grocery store which is much easier than carrying on a bike! I do think a folding bike is a good idea, just not worth getting it out at English Harbor.
I appreciate that you are promoting an idea rather than shilling a specific product. That's kinda refreshing these days. Fine job!
Thank you. I try. :)
Thank you for sharing your day. Life is beautiful 🙏🏼
You are so welcome
Wow that folds super easy! Be awesome if they made an ebike in the same form factor
Owww that would be!
Best folding bike I’ve seen. Cool.
It is! :)
Woo hoo! Not having an option but walking, then having a mechanical advantage is a huge step up.
Thank buddy, glad you liked it! :)
Great video, I have a Brompton folding bike and it was definitely a great investment and opens up so much more.
Nice!
That's right! What would we be without our foldable bikes on our boats? 🚲 💪🤙⛵
Walk. :)
What a great idea!
Right!!!
Has its drawbacks with hills but definitely beats walking😂
Exactly!

Right on, thanks.

Was looking for a link but nothing? What brand is it. I am nervous to buy one as so many have bad reviews 😵💫
It is Strida bike, I presume.
@@siberianshuburshun688 thank you 🙏🏼

Exactly.
What about a mini segway, do you see it possible? I mean a folding scooter or something like that on a boat is not good because of the rust?
A folding e-scooter could be super cool, especially in a city.
I think you’re doing that (yanking motion at 1:55) more than once a month : )
Hahaha
brompton should sponsor him
they should!
