@GARUDA Singh apparently having balls isn't related to gender at all in reality. 😂 And m not joking, he actually said it. He clearly said that its not a question of male or female at all. A hell lot of men drop out, doesn't mean they dont have balls. They r still great officers and soldiers. They still achieve feats as high as special operatives if not bigger. Special force operators also say this when men go back after they dont make it. Armed forces always says this when ppl dont get thru ssb. They r looking for a specific skill set and mindset. 🙃 Your motivation can be driven solely based on the glory and charm of all the flashy stories around special forces and based on that enough adrenaline can be pushed into you that u just might get selected but that doesn't mean you have big balls. Many officers also leave special forces battalion after getting marooned and going in ops when they realise that they might be suitable after all. This doesn't mean they dont have big balls. Self realisation of truth and taking a decision based on that, which now enables you and everyone around you to win is what i think makes a hell of an officer. Having big balls and going in a war zone when ot was time to fallback is not what special operatives are aiming for imo.
Is it possible for a para SF operative to opt for both courses i.e combat freefall and combat diving because till now I have seen only one para SF personnel (Major Avinash Sahani) carrying both the badges.

Sorry you are so wrong that People don't know about para sf ...and with some famous operations already in discussion in publuc forum Para SF already started gaining popularity...as people were asking what we have as counter part of US special forces mainly navy seals and delta. Surgical strike made Para SF as living legends Secondly, infantry are no less in themselves ... Para SF handle different level operations.
There r no rules stopping women from joining SF. Most dont volunteer, those who did, didn't clear the probation. Major Vivek Jacob cleared it out. There is no rule stopping women from joining SF and some women did volunteer.

It's true that there are less SF volunteers but the combat roles are not allowed for Women in army . Recently a woman from US passed out the Green Beret coarse and got inducted in SOCOM .

@@Mahure786 Infantry unit milti zaroor hai as per your merit but probation is not just limited to PARA SF. Every guy has to go through a probation, if he opts for infantry. Uske baad if that infantry guy wants to opt for PARA SF then he has to go through a SF designed probation .
@@specialforcesofindia There is no probation for Infantry. All officers opting or receiving Infantry have to finish the 30-day (duration not specific) commando course at Belgaum. That is what they have to mandatorily do. Other Ranks do not get to do this by default. Only the best among the men get to opt for it. Infantry Officers have to do this mandatorily and pass it (be it in one two or three attempts) since the standard of an officer has to be much higher than the soldiers. Also, the Probationers for SF may have to do a course at Belgaum before their probation to make them ready for the adversity of the 90-day first phase probation. So, that is there.

@@ruthless6133 officers are expected to be more intellectual in order to guide others, when it comes to interviews and discussion, your education and experiences are more important than courage and muscle power. And mostly people here are aspiring to be an army officer so obviously they'll prefer to listen to the officer. Discrimination is a different matter and exist in every organisation.

You have to complete 5 km under 23 minutes with weapon approx 4 to 5 kg and weight bag approx 7 kg
