Pieper Band of Warriors - UIL 5A Area D Marching Contest Prelims 10.28.23

“Checkmate”. The Pieper Band of Warriors performance of their 2023 production at the UIL 5A Area D Marching Contest Prelims on October 28, 2023. The band performed at 10:15am, second of the entire day, but managed to place 6th overall and earn a spot in the finals contest. In finals that evening, the band would go onto place 3rd overall and advance to the UIL State Marching Contest. This was the first Area Finals for the BoW, the first invitation to the State contest, and the highest placement in district history in the 5A classification.
