Money transform front and backyard into great Oasis♥️🌴so beautiful, love all the plants you incorporate them so well, I like foxtail palms, I always have to replace each year for 4 years, then I found out they like to grow at beach side where it is salty and tropical temps, otherwise they don't survive each time after the winter, ty for sharing😊♥️🙏
Islands around the pool, I'm always wanting to see the beds from the yard side as well, since we spend time in the yard with the pets and kids as well as the pool. Always enjoy your tours!❤
True Gardener! Just wondering what the plant is at time stamp 32:18 over your right shoulder, under the window? Lovely garden design as usual fills my soul
What a unbelievably gorgeous backyard oasis! It’s just stunning! Claudia’s woodpecker is just too cute. I admire Claudia’s restraint in using very few little garden statues. (More control than I possess!) With the very large area that is her landscaped backyard, when you see one of her little garden pieces, they stand out much more and can be much more appreciated because there are so few of them. Nice catch of their security system sign, Bryce! 😂 I lol’ed. 🙌🏼 Love that. True gardener.
I agree I can’t wait to see what it looks like next year, especially since we’ll have a little bit of room to plant a few shade, loving plants within the garden by then
TRUE GARDENER! Loved the video! Hope yall are having a great weekend! I'm in Jacksonville and it's been soooooo hot, melt your face off hot! 🥵🌴 back to early morning gardening and afternoons in the AC - that pool looks so refreshing 😅
I would like to speak on it more. I have a short on the round up and it’s usage. That said, it is controversial because of chemicals that it uses. I am looking for a better alternative but haven’t found a reliable one yet. If I do I will test it out and make sure to speak on it :)
Thank you for sharing the trimming tips for the Japanese Fern Tree. We recently got one and it is beginning to become spindly. We will keep it trimmed for a thicker canopy thanks to you!
Amazing!!!! You are so talented. Your gardens are beautiful love the informative videos. I’m going to start my tropical garden base on all your tips. I’m way out of your area😢. Zone 11b
Hi, Jennifer! I love your work and you’ve inspired my yard. I’m dying to know more about the plant behind the air conditioner unit. Can you share more about it?
This is a favorite ❤. STUNNING! You mentioned Aluminum Alloy edging…where could I buy this? Keep up the amazing work! Thanks for filming Brice! True Gardener 🌴
Great job for such a big open area. When all the foliage on the ends grown in, it will have such a nice cozy feel. What are the short palms on the far side of the pool - one on each side of the seating area? Are those king alexanders?
True Gardener! Can you tell me what the tree is at 26:25 and 27:39. One was along the side yard and had white flowers on it. You do great work and look forward to your videos.
Yes the one behind the Christmas palm is yes, it’s the dwarf tree Jasmine Scientific Name: Radermachera sinica ‘Kunming’ the one along the side of the house is the powder puff tree.
Should we reconsider the triangle palm we planted next to our pool, or will it be fine? It has areca about 10’ away…I’m worried it may be too much now? I have a small yard, Areca against a fence
True Gardener 🌺 Beautiful! Question: I love Bromeliads but growing up in PR I remember my grandmother not wanting them because Mosquitoes ( Dengue) bred in them. Is that true? If so, how could I prevent that from happening?
hello Gardner great question. Yes, the cups can hold water for period of time that could allow for mosquitoes to breed however, if you have an irrigation system or you flush those cups out once a week that would prevent that from happening, my irrigation system is strong enough to flush my cups out of water to prevent that but let the hose run on them for a couple minutes works just the same.
yes, it is and I love that tree. I didn’t realize until later that I forgot to mention it they’re tough durable in many different soil types. Grow a little too slow for a lot of my gardens but if you have patience, they make a fantastic focal point I do tend to plant a couple in one hole so that way they flare out and become wider and not tall and thin hope that makes sense.
Hey, Jennifer - love this pool area! I see that you have used Pygmy Date palms here rather than Cat palms - is that because you wanted more under story plants? I’m doing a section of my back yard and was planning to do Cat palms but now am second guessing myself.
You are exactly right, Becky. I love pygmy palms because they give me lower clearance of 3 to 4 feet and still give me that upper canopy of 10 to 12 feet of overall coverage. I know Claudia the homeowner plans to incorporate more shade loving plants so we’re hoping to put a few in there in the future.
hey Susan, no I love hibiscus. I think they make a great backdrop to the garden. It just seems lately. I’m dealing with a lot of clay soil in these yards and hibiscus really love that well draining soil.
oh no, let me take a look at that not sure what happened. I’ll link it for you down below so you have it and then I’ll check my other videos to see what may have happens. Your Looking Gorgeous and Hot at the Pool Side. So Great to see Adonidia palms around the pool. I take it Bougainvillea are too messy for pools but really go well with Christmas Palms. So probably Tradescantia would be best next to Christmas palms or maybe plumbagos.... Love to to visit the Canary islands Fuerteventura,, and sort out our garden
yes, those are some of my favorites too, but Bougainvillea have a way of finding their way scattered throughout the garden and pool don’t they. glad you enjoyed it.
Beautiful layout, love it. You mentioned landscape lighting and would love a lesson. Really enjoy your tours
An amazing Tropical garden. Show us more.
I have SO MANY more plants to show you!
Wow ❤❤❤❤

Hahaha you’re not wrong 🤣thank you so so much for watching
Wow! That is beautiful. It looks like a resort. I’d never want to leave if I lived there.
That’s exactly what we want! A resort in your own backyard :) then you never have to leave!
Love the landscape and love the t-shirt too!
Your designs are awesome! And thank you, Bryce, for your camera work!
thank you, Becky
You’ve certainly made their pool area look like a small boutique tropical resort that I would love to stay.
Islands around the pool, I'm always wanting to see the beds from the yard side as well, since we spend time in the yard with the pets and kids as well as the pool. Always enjoy your tours!❤
That's a great idea! 😊 thanks so so much for watching!!

Beautiful and well thought out design. I would love to see a follow up in a year or two.
I agree I can’t wait to see what it looks like next year, especially since we’ll have a little bit of room to plant a few shade, loving plants within the garden by then
Just beautiful! Love your T-shirt btw!
Your designs are truly amazing. ❤ I love your rinse and repeat approach.

Thank you And yes these next three months are brutal aren’t they? I’m convinced its the dues we pay to live in Paradise.
Was that Japanese fern wrapping around the front near the ac unit? Beautiful!
True gardener..
True gardener..another wonderful video!
hello Gardner, thank you and glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Great work, can you do a short on if we should use weed prevention fabric or not please
I would like to speak on it more. I have a short on the round up and it’s usage. That said, it is controversial because of chemicals that it uses. I am looking for a better alternative but haven’t found a reliable one yet. If I do I will test it out and make sure to speak on it :)
How about the weed barrier fabric, do you use that?
The Japanese Fern tree is awesome, but I am SO coveting that powderpuff we saw behind the security sign. lol!
wasn’t that stunning the homeowners did that themselves last year and I think it’s just absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for sharing the trimming tips for the Japanese Fern Tree. We recently got one and it is beginning to become spindly. We will keep it trimmed for a thicker canopy thanks to you!
Glad it was helpful i’m sure you’re gonna love it. They’re such a beautiful tree.

Thank you very much!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ❤
Thank you so much
Lovely enjoyed ❤
I would like to see how you built you back porch/lanai!?
❤❤❤ true gardener
hello Gardner, thanks for tuning in
Hi, Jennifer! I love your work and you’ve inspired my yard. I’m dying to know more about the plant behind the air conditioner unit. Can you share more about it?
Can you do a video on which palms you like to work with and how you choose where to place them?
that’s a great suggestion. I’ll add it to the list. thank you.
In your Landscape Gardens, have you ever Considered the Satakentia and Carpoxylon palms? Carpoxylon must have the most Gorgeous Crown Sharft
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
GORGEOUS, of course!
What is the tree/standard behind the Christmas palm at about?? 25:00
It’s called the Tree Jasmine, I think that’s the one you meant?
This is a favorite ❤. STUNNING!
You mentioned Aluminum Alloy edging…where could I buy this?
Keep up the amazing work! Thanks for filming Brice!
True Gardener 🌴
You can find the edging here and thank you. amzn.to/3KTqnEG

Those are the cleanest Areca palms in the background.. do you place any plants on the front bottom of those palms?
👋 not usually since as you probably know Arecas are always a project and access to those bases make it easy to keep them trimmed when needed.
That was nice! How long before they're asking you to fill in their entire front to give that same feeling as they now have in the back? - LOL
Should we reconsider the triangle palm we planted next to our pool, or will it be fine? It has areca about 10’ away…I’m worried it may be too much now? I have a small yard, Areca against a fence
Triangle about 4’ from pool tops
Doesn’t Gold Mound have thorns? You’re so brave to run your hand through then!!

@@TrueGardener thank you for your reply. I love your videos!
What is the small tree behind the Christmas palms at 25:05?
Looks like dwarf tree jasmine.. and if so, I was wondering what are her thoughts on it?
yes, it is and I love that tree.

What’s in the large pots?
those are Americana agaves in the big pots by the pool.
Nice! Doesn't the mulch attract termites when placed close the exterior walls?
The mulch we use is a hardwood blend and it’s dipped prior to bagging so it’s pretty common practice to use it along any foundation.

hey Susan, no I love hibiscus. I think they make a great backdrop to the garden. It just seems lately. I’m dealing with a lot of clay soil in these yards and hibiscus really love that well draining soil.
Jennifer- what happened to the Amazon link? I was going to order more stuff and can’t find it now.
