Appalachia Sessions Live, hosted by Chris Blue, is an immersive educational program that promotes the history, culture, and music of East Tennessee and the greater Appalachian region. It offers students a unique, enriching experience that combines museum tours and live musical performances.

Appalachia Sessions Live (ASLive) knows that the children of Appalachia have as much talent as any child anywhere. So, we help them discover and unlock their potential. ASLive equips students from our underserved communities with the education, inspiration, and connection they need to pursue their biggest dreams. We provide EDUCATION: Field trips and experiences in award-winning museums INSPIRATION: Regional musicians' stories and performances during a televised concert that motivates children to say, “I could do that too.” CONNECTION: Scholarships presented to students during a televised concert
OUR MISSION
To equip and unleash the underserved students of Appalachia to become influencers, educated men and women who cause exponential impact... like Dolly Parton and Chris Stapelton!

I went to every recording last season, and kept waiting for an email notification regarding the 2nd season of Sessions, as I was on the email list, but I never got one. I had no idea the new season had started. Smh
Holy cow!, i cant believe you haven't seen all the announcements. The Appalachia Sessions Live season 2 (the Knoxville Sessions) kicks off Monday at 12:00 at The Point on W 5th Ave. For weeks, The announcments have been blasteedt all over our social media sites, our website, and the ETHS website.
