I can remember password since my childhood. I played this game when I was 9 years old. I'm now 34. 25 years ago, I still remember these passwords. 0407 = Start Marshland with remote bomb. 3200 = Start Firestorm world with remote bomb. 4501 = Start winterland with remote bomb. 0606 = Start spaceship with remote bomb.
Is Super Bomberman 2 the only one that breaks the traditional square shaped levels for the single player? I don't know if it's just because it's the only one I had on the original SNES but it just seems so superior to the others... is it just me?
This game is also technically a sequel to Bomberman 94 because of its gameplay,sprites,and returning Rois while the soundtrack are remixed versions of Bomberman 93’s soundtrack

There is no American version of this game, there is however, a PAL version.
At least in Brazil.

It is Not only you. I do find Super Bomberman 2 has more interesting stage designs anfbthe graphic and sound are better compared to the 3rd.
