fun fact! in the original story louis finds claudia during a plague and feeds on her and regrets it immediately, he was about to leave lestat at this point so lestat turned claudia as a way to baby trap louis so he wouldn't leave. great reaction! episode 5 is heavy it's a lot to take in, looking forward to your reaction 😊
I love how you’re always on Louis to ask more questions of Lestat! Always makes me laugh. So true. I think Louis doesn’t dig too hard because he thinks it’s painful (what he told Claudia in the boat), but I think Lestat is happy enough to talk about past pains. Lestat doesn’t share info that would loosen his control over Louis.
In the books, Lestat had been sworn to secrecy about the vampire existence by someone who I won’t name :) prior to his arrival in the US…someone I hope they introduce in future seasons!
It's so cool to see a reaction from fresh eyes, I've read most of the books and saw the movie so I'm like already have a sense of how things are folding but I'm enjoying the creators of the show making it their own. Your reactions are so fun!
Claudia was with them for 5 years at this point. Claudia was 14 when she when turned her. She was 19 when she meets Charlie. @ 8:02 that is the start of Lestat having different rules for himself. He was the one that said they shouldn't have family secrets when he saw that Louis and Claudia can have private conversations without him, but like Claudia killing her boyfriend out lust, he tells them things by having them finding out in traumatic ways because he sees it as something to get just get pass. Shits going to hit the fan in the next episode lucky for you don't have to wait long on that clip hanger, but it's a lot to process.
📍; Claudia always had questions, Louis was halfway brainwashed and didn't ask much, but i don't think Lestat wanted Louis to know too much because he could leave and do ok without him... he had a lot of powers that he never told Louis about.
I looked up a picture, and milkweed are the species of flower that monarch butterflies feed on. Very few of them have large petals, so I think Lestat is just giving Claudia a cute nickname that implies she's still just a girl. I don't think Claudia was a bad kid before she was turned, I think she was just so young that being pulled from a life of squalor to a life of riches, but also life as a different species, was going to mess her up no matter what. What kills me about the end is that neither Lestat nor Louis heard her scream - for fuck's sake guys, your daughter is self-harming out in the hallway, can't you tell???
Yeah i think Claudia wasn't a bad kid, but if you did turn a really bad kid into a vampire, WATCH OUT lol that's so true that you think they would've heard her and came out.
Really excited for you to see Episode 5, and honestly the last two episodes. As a book reader, I know what is SUPPOSED to happen, but lord, looking forward to see how the show does it. It should be absolutely insane. But yeah, 6 comes out Sunday...but after that we have to wait two weeks for 7 I hear, so the people watching it on tv are synced up with us cool kids getting to see everything a week early. Hope you find something to keep you going until then! You've been fun to watch :)
He really is isn't he. I wonder if he's ever seen 'Midsommar'? That would be hilarious watching him see it for the first time. I just realized, I don't think he's ever told us his name. Do we just call him 'Fool'?
I think Louis is curious, but as we’ve seen Lestat gets all…prissy when his past is questioned so Louis probably just stopped for the sake of his own peace of mind 😂
Alright, all you Reacting A Fool viewers, all you *Fellow Foolers*, if you will: We know Claudia is a significant character but NO SPOILERS! Remember that a lot of newbies know nothing. They haven't read the books or even seen the movie. Just please be careful when discussing her.
@@mynameisnoonesbusiness4488 Nah, vent all you want. But those of us in the know, already know the season's climax. All's I'm saying is remember that newbies do not. And there's only 2 episodes left, then we can talk about it.
I don’t know that this is actually a spoiler for newbies but I will bump this down anyway… I was SO curious to see Claudia Since I knew from the trailers that she’s a teenager not a five year old. I am disappointed in that change, for reasons of fundamental theme and plot tied to her very young age, but watching this episode I am better with it. They’ve emphasized her childish nature and resulting parenting challenges and outcomes, and substituted comparable events. I’m still extremely curious how they will handle her subsequently. I have not seen the next episodes.
Dude you are so awesome for being considerate of others.Thank you for being kind. Yeah, about Claudia's age. It's not a spoiler. I wasn't sure about the change either at first - but I'm cool with it now. It makes her situation more juicier. Like she's stuck there just at the cusp of becoming an adult! Being a forever child would be hard, but imagine forever being stuck in puberty. No thanks. Also, since it's a tv show (as compared to a movie) I don't think it was possible to hire a child actor because of Louisiana Labour Laws. Especially for a show that only shoots at night mostly. Not to mention that finding a kid with that kind of range would be very hard. The movie lucked out with Kirsten Dunst but that was like catching lightning in a bottle.
Not sure if you'd want to but maybe when you're done with this 1st season go watch the movie with Tom Cruise and bradpitt from 1994. I'd love to see you react to that.
So Claudia is my absolute least favorite character on screen in a long time. In the book and original movie she was MUCH younger when she got turned. I think she was like 5 or 6, she was a massive spoiled brat with a huge grudge against Lestat because he created her before she could become a woman and actually enjoy life. Because even though she never physically aged she mentally aged, so she was like a 30 year old woman in a toddlers body.
I can understand if you think the character should be a certain way because of the books and it's not that way, it could be upsetting. For me I think the actress did a great job, and because i haven't read the books it didn't bother me at all. I wonder how other mega fans feel about this. 🤔

I'm on Louie because I want to know so badly 🤣
In the books, Lestat had been sworn to secrecy about the vampire existence by someone who I won’t name :) prior to his arrival in the US…someone I hope they introduce in future seasons!
She was 14 when they turned her. She was 19 or so when she killed him. So 5 years.

Thank you for watching! I can't wait for more seasons to come out, and for the other shows in the immortal universe to come out.

Holy shit dude, love your reaction to say the least. Your a live wire and I like that. Also, whatever drugs your on...I WANT SOME 😶🌫
His episode should be called “In which Louis and Lestat decide to have a trap baby”

I bet Lestat did hear Claudia, rolled his eyes and ignored it lmao. But maybe Louis went to check what's going on, but they just didn't show it.
I mean claudia was already screaming in her coffin so for them it was just another tantrum

Really? We have to wait two weeks for the finale? 😩 It's hard enough having to wait one week.
@@_notmyproblem_ as far as I have heard. Man, I would love to be wrong lol

Yeah very true, makes sense 🙂
Glad your still reacting to the show . It’s so refreshing watching a non book reader reacting to the show.
It's a great show thus far, hard not to watch it! 🙂
➡️; Claudia was 14 when Louis found her, and Lestat turned her... She was 19 when she went on the date with Charlie and accidently drained him. /😩💗
His sister & brother-in-law still look so young cause we age slower on the outside 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, I seen True Blood when that vamp with pile driver on that lady in the harness, lol.
It's crazy how fast they could do it!~ 🤪
You guys are pervs 🤣😝. But yeah, it was kinda cool. Looks like it would kinda hurt though.

Okey dokie
You got it, boss!
She does by Armand’s command. Oooooops it just slipped out
🤣🤣 great reaction as usual
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊

woop woop just in time for my lunch break 😜
Hey! That powerball is mine! 😝🤣🤭
No way, it's mine, I called it first! 🤪
lol. never sucked a bro dry on accident. when i suck a bro dry, it's always INTENTIONAL.
Milkweed is The poisonous weed that monarch butterflies feed on as larvae
Yes, do Doctor Who.
I already shot episode 1, the reaction should be released soon! 🙂

i'm that slow, 12-hr guy. no speed for me. just nice and slow. the slow grind is everything.

I've been told from commentors that I should wait until at least season 2. But I definitely will watch it at some point 🙂
You should watch Buffy...if you're looking for stuff to watch
I've been thinking about that, it's a good suggestion for sure 🙂
You're beautiful to.... enjoyed your reaction 🤗🤗🤗
Superman was created in 1938, fyi.
I won't remember that but hopefully I do, thank you! 🙂
@@reactingafool - In this series(or show) Claudia was 'Turned' in 1917... So there was no Superman character around that time.
You're a f*ckin mess but you're a cute f*ckin mess. Do House of the Dragon, Doctor Who, Harley Quinn and the MCU shows.
Thank you 😊 I legit was thinking about doing Dr. Who, maybe I will now 🤔
