Thank you so much! The quality it’s amazing and I have never seen the introduction before the ballet. It’s just a sacrilege they didn’t record Claude de Vulpian and Isabelle Guérin variations… merci! ❤

You're absolutely right. I guess Claude de Vulpian was supposed to dance the slow-waltz variation and Isabelle Guérin the "big jumps" variation, the one we see in Lacotte's version. Maybe I'm totally wrong...😂

Oh ... thank you so much for posting this. Quite some time ago I found Elisabeth Platel's and Sylvie Guillem's solos on you tube, and it was obvious that there was more to it than that just those solos but I couldn't find the rest of the film anywhere. It is wonderful to see it now and I shall watch many times. Merci again.
