    I'm new to loom knitting. I see on some videos they put the slip knot on the first peg, and others they put it on the little peg that sticks out to the side. Is there a difference?

    • @ValenaDIY
      @ValenaDIY  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +sheila mcdowell This is a flat pattern, so you can cast on only one by one, because if you knit around the loom twice, it would be a circular and closed knit, so you will get a tight cowl. I hope I helped you.

    Hi Valena DIY, I like your video! I'd like to make this cowl for my 4 year old daughter. If I'd use a round loom (36 pegs), could I still use all 36 pegs? Or would you recommend to use less pegs? And, what length would you recommend the cowl to be for a 4 year old child? I'm looking forward to your response and I'm thanking you in advance. 😊

    • @ValenaDIY

      +Dominique Sprik Hi, of course ! I doubled the thread, so I used two skeins of 100 grams (of 263,5 yards each one), so for a total of 527 yards of acrylic yarn for knitting needles n° 4 of 5. Can be replace for 527 yards of an unique thread of yarn for knitting needles n° 8 of 10.
