Bespoke Acrylic & Gel Client Set

- Heya Duck in today's video I'll show you how I created this Acrylic and Gel Chevron Smile line design
I'll start by attaching some ballerina tips the nail and blending those in then ill give those a pinch to make them extra slim then I'll wipe those over using the clean-up solution to remove any dust, then ill prime the natural nail and ill use the Burlesque acrylic to sculpt out my full structure nails, on the middle finger ill create I chevron smile line so ill start at the cuticle area again using Burlesque, then ill take a 100 Grit file and ill create a sharp wall for the smile line and file the rest of my acrylics in to shape and then clean over with clean up solution on a lint-free pad
Then I'll use London By Night and Kamila gel polishes on the edge of the tips and up the brick wall of the acrylic and cure those then ill remove the sticky layer and buff over the gel so that its not shiny then I'll use Nailchemy Nebula Cat eye Gel Polish over my London by night and Kamila ill cure those and then ill use clean acrylic to encapsulate
Then I'll file over using an E-file using my purple Swarovski bit and then I'll refine that shape using a hand file
On my full structure nails, I'll give those two coats of Camilla and topcoat the rest of the set and then I'll use mercury and my Lily Liner to create a Filigree design over the Camilla ill give that a topcoat and then ill buff some areas where I want to place bling and ill finish off this set with some crystals and that's it! Oh my gosh, Kirsty just be saying life changing tips so casually! I never blend my tips bc I'm scared of accidentally over filing my nail. But they always have a line of damage specifically in that spot when I remove a set. Never would've known it was from not blending the tip!
So I still use my first Kirsty Meakin double ended brush. The original pink and purple. Confession: it fell off my desk and broke 😢
So I used some superglue to perform some emergency triage and got it put back together. But not before I ordered three new brushes from Kirsty’s line.

I love them 🎉. First of all, I never knew what “AB” stood for, my interpretation for “AB” is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 😂😅. I enjoy all the fun facts Adam brings to the channel ❤. I really like the guy, because he brings so much to you both as a successful team, and it’s nice to hear a male speak about things that are not always spoken about amongst the boys😅. My nail guy has some explaining to do! Why do I only get a one and half hour window for a full set 😮 If I had 4 hours of time with him, I could also be saving a trip to my therapist monthly 😂 I guess I’m just going to have to start giving him more of a challenge and ask for more besides plain nails 😊 I can’t complain, we have great conversations and I never have any lifting ❤ It’s safe to say $160 is a reasonable price. I do have one question, do you think it is rude for a customer to bring their own crystals in? They do have their own, but sometimes I just have some that I really like. The other thing I tend to do is after he has already filed them, I have a tendency to refile them myself. Not in front of him but I do it if I see an area that looks a bit off. I think I do that because I feel a bit rushed and don’t want to inconvenience anyone’s time. Ugh, you give me so many things to think about 😊

Best way to figure out your prices is to look at other nail techs ads and see what they're charging... Then go one or two dollars lower that way you can get clientele because they feel like they're saving.... And if you do really good quality work then you're going to start getting a clientele base that's loyal.
