Hi, Bob. I enjoyed your video about Open acrylics. I am using them too on location with The SS White Rock Plein air group. We paint every Tuesday and painted at Stewart Farm where your video was set just last week. What a treat to see you painting in the same spot. I chose a different view but was pleased with my 2 hr painting. I love Open acrylics. They are making my outdoor experience more successful. That was a very clear and concise explanantion of the two kinds of acrylics. I have yet to do any Plein air painting, but am very keen to try. This was a very enjoyable and informative video. I love your style, and the fact that yoiu can still see the texture of the canvas, I love that.Thanks! : )
I've been trying to make the transition from Oil paint into Acrylic paint, just to "Broaden my Horizons", so to speak. Moving from Oil to Acrylic really frustrates me, seeing as my usual techniques are totally halted due to the drying of acrylics. But, the Open acrylics definitely go a long way in keeping it a little peaceful, lol. Great paints. :)
