What kind of father that his son at the hospital and he didn't even care, he never inquired about his son, never visited him if he supposedly was fine, all the time he just care about his mistress, what hypocrisy of him telling the reporters that he do everything for his wife and son, he will give his life for them, meanwhile he defends his son's murdered, what a useless scumbag, not fit to be a father..

It would be unethical. The BAR would bring him up for professional misconduct. Being the victim's father, he could not be partial to both the victim's mother and his client. He would somehow favor one over the other. A loss would be bad for his professional reputation. That is why he kept expecting the FL to settle.
