NATO wraps up its largest exercise since the Cold War

Exercises are important tools to test and validate NATO's concepts, procedures, systems, and tactics and for Allies to practice working together in demanding crisis situations.
NATO’s largest exercise in decades, Steadfast Defender 2024, has completed. During the four-month exercise, Allies demonstrated how they can rapidly deploy forces from both sides of the Atlantic across the Alliance. Steadfast Defender was the first large-scale NATO exercise series where new regional defense plans, adopted at the #NATOSummit in Vilnius, were put into action.
