Thank you so much for this video 🙏🏼 I resonate so strongly with the anger and emotion you expressed, how you feel the constant responsibility to take care of everything because your parents are so exhausted and the frustration of food shopping and days out. This video has really helped me realise that I’m not alone and that I shouldn’t feel bad for feeling angry or frustrated at my little sister. Thank you again! 🙏🏼

Bless you, I have coped with living with my 2 older sisters who have anorexia. It’s so difficult for the family! Well done for this video as there isn’t many out there about what it’s like living with an anorexic. Thank you x

YOU EXPLAINED IT PERFECTLY! I have a younger sister (10yrs old) with Anorexia. I didn’t expect it because she’s so young. And the vacation/things outside of home thing is exactly what happened to me. We had a trip to Florida, but just because of my sister’s illness and the fact she “didn’t want to go on an airplane” cancelled the entire trip partially made me sorta hate her. But it isn’t her, it’s her illness. She also counts calories and is obsessed with working out, working off everything she ate that day. This resulted in a lot of yelling and scary things. All I can do is…nothing. I feel helpless in this situation.
I really hope my sister gets better. I really do.

Hi Lee Glad you found the video useful and that you're not alone in how you feel. I hope you have the chance to share your feelings with those around you and ask for support if it becomes to difficult to cope with. Wishing you and your sister all the best for the future.

My sister has an eating disorder, and it’s like hell for our family right now, she is a completely different person and lost her sense of fun, she’s getting better slowly, but all the stigma around it is scary for me and my family. And I want to count calories healthily, but my mom won’t let me track or talk about calories Anymore in case my sister hears about it.
