    Yours might be the absolute best disc review videos on YT. Love the depth you go into with them and showing the release angle on the example shots is an awesome touch. Keep up the incredible work!

      Thanks. It's useful for me too. I think I'm throwing flat but actually have a bit of a hyzer sometimes. Helps me to improve my game.

    I really like that you use the discs before you review them. Love your content.

    I found my Glitch was really nice for extending my approach range while using a putting stance. Effortless throws facing target the whole time and so soft and light that it just settles where it lands.

    Great review, and conclusion. It is hard to describe the spot it holds in my bag, but I find I make up reasons to throw it because it is so satisfying to watch. I love to throw it perfectly straight and watch it glide and do it's helicopter descent right next to the basket. Easier to anheiser than Heiser it seems. Almost every starter player I have played with wants to throw the glitch the most.
    Thanks for all your reviews, love the information you provide from the land down under!
    FYI, I find it easier to watch your southern hemisphere videos by turning my phone upside down! :)

    I too bought a glitch as suggested by so many videos. First throw hit a tree, now its warped. Has a neat spike in the plastic showing the impact. Still flys ok, but its pretty warped tbh, and im not sure how much it will ultimately effect the flight and duration i have the disc. Love the idea of the glitch, i just wish it were more durable, but i guess you cant have everything!

      I've noticed mine has become a bit taco'ed and it does affect the flight negatively.

    I believe the Glitch has a spot in any bag. I've found myself reaching for it for anything 150ft and in. With a smooth clean throw it is about as point and shot as it gets for a disc. I highly agree about it not liking wobble or off-axis torque, if you release it clean it will fly true every time. Great review!!

  • @jaboc83
    @jaboc83 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great review! I think I've been in the same boat as you and gone back and forth on it about a half-dozen times. That utility it provides is pretty amazing. I'm sure, like the paradox, it'll land in my bag due to the fact that it can provide some very unique flights/shots I didn't even realize I needed. Glad to see you getting that Simon recognition as well; It is well deserved!

    • @DiscGolfDownUnder
      @DiscGolfDownUnder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks. The Paradox never worked for me. Way too flippy. The Glitch is way more predictable for me.

    I have almost every weight glitch available. I started with the heavier ones and bought the light ones a little later. It could be because of the amount of use the discs have, but I have also found that my light glitch's have more fade than my heavier glitch's. My theory is that because they are lighter, more of their weight (by percentage) is in the overmold rim and the extra spin the gyro provides (maybe) is the cause of the late flight stability. Just a theory though, but I have also experienced the same phenomenon.

    • @prattacaster
      @prattacaster 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think more spin actually keeps a disc from late fading as much, but your findings with the lighter weights are interesting for sure

    fits great for long putts where you dont want to put max power into a putt and risk it sailing. I use both it and the berg, totally different discs being 1 speeds.

    Nice vid! I'm with you on the low ceiling shots. I use the Glitch for those low ceiling get out of jail shots or long low ceiling putts. Often use them for soft runs. I don't have any issue with putting it under the basket on upshots unless I'm throwing up a big hill when I can't get the power right and it goes way long. I call the Glitch a cheat code to my disc golf buddies and if a course doesn't have anything over 300' I might go out there with just the Glitch.

    Seems like it'd be a good scramble disc when you find yourself in hard spots off the fairway. Not for throwing through foliage (you'd want something heavier for that), but if you find yourself surrounded by branches with very limited mobility a small wrist flick with the Glitch can probably get you way further than any other disc. Hoping to get my hands on one next time then come in stock.

    Awesome review brotha 🤙bagged 2 of them. That one and the new MVP colab w Simon,w the glow blue rim..super sick. A little more stable then the regular. But still super fun disc. Think everyone should give it a try😎🤙til the next one

    My 3 approach discs are the Prodigy A3 750 plastic, berg, and now the glitch. Just added the glitch last night and today since it was 21 degrees Fahrenheit forehand was not an option. The Glitch is a great easy turnover shot to replace forehands in the winter.

  • @jcduda
    @jcduda 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Because it feels and flies differently than other discs, it takes a while to adjust to. I have to stop and acknowledge what I'm throwing, then throw accordingly. That said, it's fun to chuck. And. yes, very easy to overthrow the basket...

      Yeah, the Glitch is very popular. Same here in Oz. Maybe contact a local retailer who stocks MVP and ask them to help you out. It might take a bit longer but you'll get one eventually.

    They are great for awkward putts where all you have room for is a little flick of the wrist to get it there. I had a Star Sonic for years and it was more novelty than useful. When I got 2x Glitches, I sold the Sonic. The Glitch will stay in the cart, for sure. If nothing else, it's an even better warmup disc than the Star Sonic (due to the Neutron soft plastic).

    I disagree with the wind review. Been throwing it since the release date. It's not affected if you keep it flat.

    • @subspaceanomaly

      I guess it's possible, I'd need a hill and some wind to pull that off

    • @smtx11
      @smtx11 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      With a clean release, absolutely! I mean this guy can probably throw close to 500, so he has the power. I top out around 400-425 with drivers and regularly can get the Glitch past 300 with ease. If you throw it clean with tons of spin, the thing just doesn't stop.

    • @DiscGolfDownUnder
      @DiscGolfDownUnder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Clean release is the key. I've given it to other players to throw and when they try too hard and get even a little wobble, the distance suffers. I can't say I get the greatest release every time either. You'll see in my test flight I get a little flutter after release on some of the throws. That's why the Glitch is a great training discs also.

    What do you think when Simon puts out a video where he clears a 360ft water carry and the Glitch never even thinks about turning over.

    • @DiscGolfDownUnder
      @DiscGolfDownUnder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you put enough hyzer and throw I clean, it won't flip completely. It's an awesome hyzer flip disc.

  • @halochamp3369
    @halochamp3369 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Notice how bent it is after he shows how flexible it is. That is my one main complaint. If this disc sits anywhere besides a flat surface it becomes misshapen so quickly. Then it's a process to get it back to flat.

    • @DiscGolfDownUnder
      @DiscGolfDownUnder  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely and you have to make sure it's not bent when you go to throw it or that causes flutter and wobble which kills the distance.
