Buses in those days were built at the KSRTC coach building workshops.Those buses were strong & sturdy.The age of them used to be above 20 years.I earnestly remember the days when I travelled the 'Banashnkari' bus from Bagalkot to Badami fair(now it is kept at Bangalore for public view)Golden age of red buses was over then.

2:02 Namma Uttara Kannada bus :) . Me and my brother used to visit Karwar bus stand at night time around 7pm and 8pm just to see Panaji - Mysore bus and Panaji - Sakaleshpur bus. We were big fans of Ashok Leyland buses of KSRTC because they were bigger in size and their engine sound was lovely .

Thanks for sharing the video in TH-cam, i am a big fan of those buses, i use to travel from Magadi road to Rjajinagar 6th block in school days, my favourite route bus with good driving skills driver and condition of bus 77B, unforgettable speciality in it was turning wind turbine on top of roof.
