You need to treat your patients for the withdraw from this tranq. Those who want recovery aren’t getting the treatment they need to be successful in the hospital setting.

Wanting recovery and getting a means to recovery are two different things.

      Sounds like clonidine might work?

I'm addicted to Tranq dope right now. I've already lost 3 toes. I'm afraid of going to detox bc I know it's a worse withdrawal than heroin or fentanyl alone. I went to Eagleville and all they gave me was Gabapentin and Tizanidine. I was very sick. Now I am doing more than a bundle a day. I am going to go to detox and rehab the first week of January. I am doing research on different detoxs to see which one is going to make me the most comfortable. I think most addicts avoid detox bc of the pain and withdrawal. Most people don't realize that a addict has a higher tolerance and sometimes need more meds to get them to work

@@danileegayalwaysassuming your near the Philly are ? That’s where iam and it’s brutal with how much Xylazine is in it. The wounds are killing me. Friends of mine have legit chunks missing out of their arms and legs. Like almost down
To the bone because they keep using shooting patches. It’s killed my veins fast and a while back. I was recently on like 120mg of methadone and I still was not feeling well and couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t stop using the dope. Hope drs figure out a way soon to treat Xylazine withdraws. My urine from the clinic been coming back with no positives for opiates and just weird stuff like mdma and onb fentanyl. I honestly think theirs the tiniest bit of fentanyl in these bags and it’s mostly just Xylazine. Nasty nasty drug man I hate it and having a hard time getting off regardless of the methadone usage

  • @mysixfo8805

I’m in Philly where the Xylazine is most dominant. Nobody is having a situation where they inject in a certain area and the wounds come out another place. What’s going on is everyone is using “shooting patches “ the Xylazine has been so damaging on the veins it depletes them 10 times faster then normal heroin/ fentanyl. Addicts are realizing that skin popping into the actual wound is working just the same as if they used an actual vein due to the Xylazine being so strong. The clinics aren’t even giving us fentanyl test strips anymore. Now they give us Xylazine strips but nobody uses them cuz we all already know the answer. Hope they come up with a solution soon because traditional methadone hasn’t been working for me or others I know and we’re talking doses of over 100mg out here in Philly

I'm on 190 MG of methadone but it did nothing for xylazine im 6 months into methadone and I got to use xylazine just for withdrawal because it is unmanageable I stopped Xanax the day I started methadone and it was not a issue thankfully but I can't kick this snorting xylazine me and my Wife it's not anything like fentanyl withdrawal its so beat in my mind I rather die than deal with xylazine withdrawal as soon as it hits the withdrawal is in full effect no stopping it and regular fent just comes up when I vomit because it don't even scratch the surface for me I just willing to do anything to get past the xylazine I'm in st.louis I don't have any wounds thankfully like people that inject I feel bad for my fellow addicts this really isn't fair its a sick joke that is reality I want out

Maintenance meds are pretty easy to obtain the issue is take homes. Methadone clincis should give takehomes earlier to people that are clean so they dont need to be in around a environment that might cause them to relapse. As for treatment of zylazine withdrawal clonidine does work. I withdrawaled at home using methadone and clonidine and after 7 to 14 days i was stable on my methadone dose for 24hours and tapering off clonidine.

Isn't it the worst withdraw to go through? It seems as though there's no fixing people that are addicted to xylazine! Like in the cases of heroin and opiates you have Suboxone and methadone! Norcan doesn't work because it's not opiate. So how do we fix this problem or should I say this epidemic? The government just awarded 1.6 billion dollars for mental health and addiction! ✌️
Is there anything to combat xylazine?

@@winroswe are from the Philly area where Xylazine is most present. My friends who are entering hospital or rehabs are telling me besides the normal methadone or suboxen they are giving them clonidine. I don’t understand why as that would lower your blood pressure more and possibly sedate you. But methadone alone doesn’t seem to be working. I’m on 120mg of methadone and it isn’t doing sht for my withdraw symptoms.

I guessssssssss I can see why someone would take a lot thinking it's gonna sedate them like a nod of smack would or something because other than that, it's AMAZINGGGGGG at so many other things.

Loading up on vitamin c is the only thing that helped like it didnt feel as bad as times ive withdrawled without doing that, other than that suboxone doesnt really noticeabley help and after day 2 or 3 only thing it will help with is being able to eat or drink something really you just gotta ride it out having zanax has definitely helped ease the hardness of the withdrawls
