She even said if you don't have a Plan now you can't do anything in the future. I was so scared coz I'm just a 1st year uni student (in india.) Right person, wrong time- isn’t that what happened when you met you now bf and it wasn’t the right time because you were committed to being single for a certain time period? I think that since people grow and change that absolutely is possible that the timing can be wrong. This is so much needed I have exams next month and I was forgetting that I deserve to get 90% or more I have worked so hard on studying past 5 months while working a job. And without college . I always felt like I can never get anything above average My whole life I always failed to get above average marks and forever I taught I deserve nothing. I’m not scared of their evil wishes on me I’m scared of me changing my opinion because of them¡ there’s a reason celebrities don’t reveal their relationships or buisiness ideas.
I feel like people misinterpret “arrogance” and “self-love”. “Humbleness” and “people-pleasing”. Because if we think about it, being humble, doesn’t have to mean to always put yourself down. It could mean that you shouldn’t show off in front of those who may have less than you and shame them for it. That’s where arrogance comes in. Some people truly DO think they are better than everyone and they fully act upon it. While someone who is in love with themselves, wouldn’t try to show off, but do something that will make THEM feel comfortable. They don’t talk shit about others or think they are better than anyone. Their mindset is basically- it’s me against me. Now with humbleness. It could be part of kindness. Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves where we are and who we are talking to about our accomplishments because, just like Tam mentioned, people are the ones assuming you’re bragging. So if you wanna rant about your accomplishments. Do it with people you know won’t get jealous and just try to not mention about your successes to many people who may just bad mouth you for no reason. Being humble, sometimes means to be respectful because we DO see some celebrities being bitches to their fans and etc. So it’s basically what YOU make the word mean like. It happened with me and when I realised their mindset is very cheap I immediately started to part away from them. A quit nd unpopular person can be a very understanding one we just need to observe each ones first before jumping into friendship.

Honestly I see this kind of rhetoric a lot in K-pop spaces. It's OK if friends joke with each other (if both parties are OK with the joke), but some jokes go too far and are pretty much another form of bullying

I love your 15-piece of advice videos. The first one of staying realistic hit the nail though. When I used to share my visions, I would get this answer. I then started doubting myself and became demotivated. I've learned that people project their insecurities on you. That's why I had to learn to trust myself and do it regardless.
This is going to be the new super skill. Understanding projections and trusting your gut.

I have exams next month and I was forgetting that I deserve to get 90% or more
I have worked so hard on studying past 5 months while working a job. And without college . I always felt like I can never get anything above average
My whole life I always failed to get above average marks and forever I taught I deserve nothing. But this time I am putting so much work and going out of my comfort zone .
I will come back and comment after next month on giving my exams to prove that i did it!!

I never got the "Follow your heart over brain" I will be in hell if I follow my heart. I don't even know what following my heart means. Heart is an organ. If following my heart means following my emotions, that would ruin my life. We have got intelligence, reasoning and a brain for a reason! These utopian concepts of "follow what your heart desires" is not gonna work out. We have to be logical. Otherwise you would crumble.

I love ur video however I want to tell you why I believe in evil eye. the same reason you didn’t tell us about ur book or podcast until it was coming out. I’m not scared of their evil wishes on me I’m scared of me changing my opinion because of them¡ there’s a reason celebrities don’t reveal their relationships or buisiness ideas.
I feel like people misinterpret “arrogance” and “self-love”.
“Humbleness” and “people-pleasing”. Because if we think about it, being humble, doesn’t have to mean to always put yourself down. It could mean that you shouldn’t show off in front of those who may have less than you and shame them for it. That’s where arrogance comes in. Some people truly DO think they are better than everyone and they fully act upon it. While someone who is in love with themselves, wouldn’t try to show off, but do something that will make THEM feel comfortable. They don’t talk shit about others or think they are better than anyone. Their mindset is basically- it’s me against me.
Now with humbleness. It could be part of kindness. Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves where we are and who we are talking to about our accomplishments because, just like Tam mentioned, people are the ones assuming you’re bragging. So if you wanna rant about your accomplishments. Do it with people you know won’t get jealous and just try to not mention about your successes to many people who may just bad mouth you for no reason. Being humble, sometimes means to be respectful because we DO see some celebrities being bitches to their fans and etc.
So it’s basically what YOU make the word mean like. Just like with the- “How to be a bitch” vid that Tam posted which may make someone think “Oh I don’t wanna be a bitch!” But actually, the word means a whole opposite of being an actual bitch.

i disagree with some advices that you gave in this video, tam.
listening to your heart, for me, has always worked. because heart, as most people believe, doesn't have to be the "emotional" part of the brain but its a lot. its crucial in maintaining relationships with yourself and others and HONESTLY, my heart has always helped me through all the obstacles whether be it in relationships, or friendships or the relationship with myself. and it has always helped right.
next, i disagree with the "treat others how you want to be treated" to me, it solely means treating others with the basic respect and kindness that you expect from that. like, if i wouldn't like someone calling me a certain word, i shouldnt go around saying that to other people. because in that process, im doing a disservice to myself as well.
