He's not. He's a strong person who is adapting to his life that was given to him. He's still bitter about his eye which is fair enough but he never wanted to kill his nephew. He is the best character in the show, easily imo.

@@James-vy5jg he was and is my favourite too. I liked that in the book he did not show remorse more, but I also liked the series' version.
If he turns out to be good, gray or evil, like you, he'll still be my favourite. He is a complex and well written character.

After long time I have found a character who's perfect example of well written teen or young Bad guy unlike some YA book male characters who are joke in the name of bad and plot line. Most of them are not written like teen. Aemond Targaryen and Jorg Ancrath🔥🔥🔥

@@herbthompson8937 good quality 😂😂what good quality you want ? He was a villian. He did his part as a young villian well, he was unhinged, scary and destructive. Despite being so young he such a menace. Though book neither jumped deep in characters but it was all which was required for a good young antagonist which I rarely see. Show will explore more parts of him as his book part was having much potential but explored enough
@@koelk7603 I misread you, I thought you liked him in a good way, not liked him as a villain. He is a great villain, that's part of the reason I hate him. The main reason I hate him is obviously because of Daemon
I could not find anything in HOD that could sway me like got-I did love Dany season 1"she made me watch season 2, but she lost me then. There were other more deserving characters then. As for HOD - I thought it was over, it was not GOT- but Aemon saved it in episode 8. Now I won't miss an episode.
@@michaelnkomphela8231 honestly got is better in terms of characters as compared to HOD mainly dance characters otherwise blackfyre Reb were very interesting. To me characters of GOT would always be more better than HOD and they are expect some 2 or 3 characters in HOd but it depends how series will take them further

This is an amazing video, I love it and Aemond is one of my favourite characters. Aemond is such an intriguing character, both good and bad. He didn’t mean to kill Lucerys, and he feels genuine regret, remorse and shame.
Unfortunately, no one will believe him and when B&C appear this will cause the monster inside of him to be unleashed. I think it’s very likely he is the father of Helaena’s children, especially considering how he reacts to the news and how much he cares about Helaena.

If the House of Dragon was made in the point of view of Aemond, he wouldn't be portrayed as evil, in my opinion. I honestly do not believe Rhaenyra is fit to be queen. She made so many enemies when she was heir. Made enemies of the Lannisters, the Hightowers because she incited conflict with Alicent, made enemies with the Velaryons thankfully she somewhat fixed it because they both have a common goal. Made enemies of the Baratheons by expecting oaths to be kept without reward, made enemies with many houses especially during the Marriage Proprosal scenes, she insulted the old man with a house, and the young boy with a strong house. She doesn't know how to be diplomatic unlike Viserys who knows the right words to use to inspire and keep the Kingdom loyal to him. You can tell he doesn't want to put up a facade but he knows it's his duty to be mindful of all houses' perception of the Crown.
Edit: Aemond should be king. If only.
