- In this video, View First will show you how to remove Lid or not easy to remove rice cooker cover. Speacially for the Micromatic brand.

This process can be use also when accidentally pull the plastic part of the lid to hold pressure. Can be useful to clean regularly the lid part which is not easy to clean since it is screwed.

Thanks man. Rice got left inside to rot in the heat for a few days and stunk up the whole thing. Had to take the lid off and soak it in vinegar to get the smell out. You helped a lot, cheers.

This partially helped me on my kyowa, but still have another big gasket not sure hiw to put it back

Hi po, new user ng ganitong rice cooker, hindi po ba tinatanggal yung mallit na round rubber? kasi may instruction sa rice cooker na hindi daw pwede i cover ng any cloth or material ang steamer lid. thank you po
hi po yan po ba ung sa steam release nya? na may plastic na round din na around 1.5 to 2 inch diameter? if yan po di po tinatangal un, tumutulong po un para ma control ung pressure sa loob.

Pull away while pulling upward same as the top cover
I managed it with a plastic tool thanks. My model was a little different and the cover was only hooked at the bottom.

@@5069_xx nakaisip ako paraan pra d maistock yung tubig sa kanal ng rubber na yan.. Binutas ko boss ng kapiraso dun banda sa tpatan ng pansalo nya.. Pra kada angat mo ng takip.. Lalabas yung tubig dun sa butas drecho sa pansalo nya. Hehe

meron pong 2 ways 1st pina ka easy dalhin ang buong unit at linisan lng or basain ung top side only easy pero nakakastruggle. 2nd po is remove the top part tagalin ung isang screw sa may drain cup sa likod pull going top and remove. yan po. honestly i dont recommend this kind of model. hassle maglinis. pina ka easy talaga wet towel na malinis and wipe mo n lng ung sa loob na part ng takip.
Nasira din ying goma kasi i tried to clean it. Pede kaya gumana kahit wala ung goma ? Hehe hirap linisin napapanisan ng kanin/ rice water
