The ending is indeed ludicrous. It's all very well making that sort of twist in a theatre stage show, but rewatching the movie it's impossible to believe the change of identity, unless we're to believe Depp is acting to be someone who is a great actor.. if you know what I mean.
Totally agree with 'adim88'. Yes this movie was fluff - from start to finish. But it KNEW it was. It obviously didn't take itself too seriously and i don't think the people who see it should either. It's stupid, yes. But it one of those films you can just stick on when you wanna cuddle up with your girlfriend on a Sunday night with a glass of wine. It is dumb, yes - totally agree. But it's harmless fun and it never tries to be anything more.

@jd899 I'm guessing not. Angels and Demons manages the neat trick of actually being dumber than Christianity. I suppose one could argue there's a real sense of achievement there.

The Tourist wasn't very good. Not terrible but too complicated and did not live up to the "dream pairing" of Jolie and Depp!

Totally disagree. I enjoyed the Tourist a lot. Jolie never looks more beautiful. Deep is funny and awkward. Romantic too. Beautiful music. Thumbs up 👍
critics are so full of themselves. audiences obviously loved the movie- $250m worldwide and counting.
Just because they went to see it doesn't mean they enjoyed it or it was any good. Dreadful film.
