I shipped Cassie and Jake when I was a little kid watching this show but I'm not sure Cassie would have been able to handle Jake's moods emotionally without using her dark magic. Faye and Jake match each other's energy in a way that compliments each other and who they are in the present moment instead of who they could become being around each other. Cassie and Jake just seem a bit too different in order to make a relationship last. The passion is there but not the chemistry.
That’s where I have to disagree with you I feel like Cassie and Jake are perfect for each other because they’re so different he has a bit of a troubled side which I feel Cassie is the perfect person to help him with unlike Freya who just makes it worse she makes him want to do more harm than they are just not good for each other.
Cadam is my tsc otp but Jake isn't a crook, he started off not the best guy but that's because the witch hunters manipulated him, had he known they were the ones that killed his parents he never would've joined them. He's made mistakes and he's paid for them, he lost his parents & his brother! Cadam is 100000000% my otp and I believe they would've been endgame but I ended up liking Jake/Cassie too I shipper all tsc ships in dome way.
This show deserved more appreciation and seasons
