I visited the Dominican Republic a few weeks ago and absolutely loved my time there. I was amazed by the sights in Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata-everything is simply stunning! And the food is absolutely delicious!
Santo Domingo looks great, as you hear people say that ohh it's a third world country, the truth is what I see in this video is the same as any rich country. In fact I see it more libido because of the clina, vegetation, happy atmosphere. He clearly has a better life. better mental health. less stress. more relaxed, less problems, less boring, more places to have fun, that's where I feel like you can spend a happy day just by being outdoors. I would love to move to that country. to be able to live life
Oh yeah, in Santo Domingo everybody can spend a happy day just by being outdoors. You don't need to have a plan to spend a good day in Santo Domingo, just go hang out.
Yeah, I found that Santo Domingo City is just an amazing to visit during your stay in the DR. I like Zona Colonial and love the train system and cable cars. Anna your sunglasses look spectacular on you matching your blue dress.
We live in NYC, but honestly want to move to Santo Domingo. Weve been there alot, and keep exploring all the different restaurants. There are so many great places to go visit, its an amazing city. Were actually visiting soon!

If you had flown the drone, you will have wonderful views. The botanical gardens he’s actually 1400 hectares. People do go to work out or simply run or jog or walk around it’s perimeter not even having to go into the park. You also need to visit the other great lungs of the city like this, which is also huge and Mirador or Norte by the way, Santo Domingo is the largest city of the Antilles and Central America.
❤👍 Thank you. The Sto Dgo botanical garden is pretty nice. They have food fest every year called Bocao Food Fest. The dog is like, this tourist have money, maybe they can feed me
You guys are amazing, I love every videos that you make and I love the details when you are describing the food, the places, the prices etc. muy buenos Love my beloved DR.
Incidentally, funny you called the dog following you as Domingo. The mother of the guy who established the friars of the Dominican order, as his name is Dominic or rather Domingo de Guzman, called him so due to a dream of a dog with a torch on its mouth torching up the earth on fire. Therefore, she named her son in Spanish as Domingo, wherein Latin it is, "Domini Canis." It literally means, dog of God or God's dog, as in faithful dog of God. "DOMINICANIS!!!!!" Dominican Friars: The order is of the Roman Catholic order of preaching friars founded by St. Dominic, or of a religious order for women founded on similar principles. Like big poppa said, "...and if you didn't know, now you know!"
Hi guys. I've just stumbled upon this great content. It's always welcome to see visitors like you guys enjoying our country. We are very proud of our culture and love to share it with the world. Thank you for kind words and appreciation. You got another Dominican subscriber lol.
Back in high school, we used to do what was called a rally, which was a race between different high schools, looking for clues and information about certain plants. Whichever school gathered all the clues and information first won. We had to run through the entire garden, looking for clues, haha. I don't know if they still do it. I have been living in the United States since 2002... and I can tell you, I miss my country very much :(
Casa barista in the colonial zone is one of my fav coffee shops in the city. I’ve stayed at Hodelpa Nicolás de Ovando many times and it is a real treat. How can you not love that country?? ❤

Santo Domingo is developing rapidly, but the rest of the country is also beautiful. By the way, there are two cold places there: Constanza and Jarabacoa. I've never been there, but I heard it's very cold, which is kind of crazy to think about on a Caribbean island. There is even a desert, gold mines, and salt mines.
