Thank you for putting out the video, the pattern and the description. Just to let others know that the zipper for 104 size should be 35 cm, not 45 cm.Again thanks for doing this, good explanation.
Bravo! The camera angle and careful positioning of your hands made following this video, without an audio, perfect! I wish some of the TV shows would follow your lead. Many times as a viewer I can't see what the sewer is doing. Brilliant! Thank you.
Wonderful tutorial. The Japanese are designing and sewing such wonderful clothing now. This pattern is exactly what I need for some charity sewing for little kids in Arkansas. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the instructions. This was very easy to follow and it looks very professional. I have completed my first hooded sweater for my daughter. Thank you again
This was just excellent. After making 3 fleece jackets for my grandchildren I can see where it could have been done easier than the patterns I had. I avoided zippers because I thought I'd goof them up but you gave me confidence that it wouldn't be that hard to add one. Thank you!
That was pretty cool. I've never even considered making my own clothes, but this tutorial kinda makes me wanna learn enough to at least repair some clothing items I really like.
It looks fairly simply I will have to try and make one, even tho I'm a novice sewer I will follow along with your video. It turn out really cute....tfs
Yeah they do look "cute" I suppose.. in regards to where you could get them, amazon.com probably has them. And if you can't find clips in the video, you could always use those micro paper clips... I'm sure you've seen those in office supply. www.amazon.com/OfficemateOIC-Binder-Assorted-Colors-31023/dp/B003GAYKNY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1414980150&sr=8-2&keywords=micro+paper+clips
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I think you could have made it even better if you talked through the steps rather than just write a comment. How do you increase the pattern size to accommodate a larger person?
can this pattern be used to make this same hoodie with a different material or with a lining or for a reverse hoodie? if not could you please do a tutorial
Yes it can be made with any material. I have made a lining version before for a reversible hoodie and preparing more sizes for release. Will put up a new video when that's done!
No, because the neckline of the back piece is higher than the front. You can use the front bodice pattern, omit the seam allowance on the front edge, and cut the pattern on fold.

How many yards of fleece do i need for my 1yr old?
Depends on if you have a hood or not. Also I go by what the actual pattern suggests but 1-1.5 yards should do it.
That was pretty cool. I've never even considered making my own clothes, but this tutorial kinda makes me wanna learn enough to at least repair some clothing items I really like.
I love the video, learned a lot and I have been sewing for many years. Love the binding on the neck edge.

How do I convert the sizes for the patterns?
It's based on the child's height.

Your bandwidth limit has been exceeded. I can't download the pdf pattern. Can you make it available somehow?

They are Wonder Clips.
How to cutting jacket
Wow beautiful
for a pull over hoodie do i just use two back pieces?
No, because the neckline of the back piece is higher than the front. You can use the front bodice pattern, omit the seam allowance on the front edge, and cut the pattern on fold.
Japanese Sewing Books thanks that really helped I hope to finish the jacket tomorrow but I spent a bit of time mining the pattern for some plushies
Japanese Sewing Books why does the back hood edge have to be 1cm away from the front bodice edge?

measurement? ??
syed shareen It's based on the mesurments of the child
Try tracing the measurements of a well fitting or slightly loose long sleeved T shirt. Then you could just freehand the hood.
