I did the Big Texan or should I say attempted horribly. Staff is super friendly , but when that platter hits the table, it intimidating as hell. I ate less than half (maybe 20 oz). Its tough ans thick even for medium/medium rare. I visited Amarillo for three days and only ate here once.
The big Texan Amarillo Texas I haven't tried the big 72oz but the regular sized steak was horrible tough and chewy (medium rare) I thought I was going to choke on it the flavor was ok.
When I went, the meth head hostess apparently didn't activate our pager. It was discovered when we asked about our wait after seeing people come and go. We left without eating. ❤😂
I eat bigger steaks for breakfast, every day, for the past 55 years. This is nothing. I was born in Tajikistan, one of the best countries in the world.

The key is, spend the first 10 minutes cutting it all up and you can't take more than an additional 20 minutes eating everything. 👍😋
