Well, I went for a xmas leaderboard on 2023 december and I stayed in top 100 for all the time until last day I had to help my family and if I'm honest the grinding for leaderboard may be fun but not for that long due to sleeping patterns and being exhausted or tired. I did grind the leaderboard every day like on avarage 20 hours and last day just dropped out for my own good. You'r totally right listsening music and doing some tasks while grinding does really help you stay motivated and awake. To be honest I'm trying to go for xmas leaderboard once again this year, because when I do non-stop grinding, I usually enjoy it, but not for that long, so if I do some school work next to grinding at the same time and hear music, it helps me to stay motivated and I would still awake with a higher chance. Although I'm at 11th grade and I have to write research, so writting it at the same time while playing isn't that bad in my opinion. Although for halloween leaderboard I won't go ita becausw it starts at school week and we have 1 week break and school lessons are way more important than griding for a leaderboard.

There's also a peak hour in the Philippines which most servers have lots of bots they are around 11-12 AM or lunchtime It takes about like 2-4 rejoins for a server with no bots
Im going for next years christmas lb (2025) im studying for mocks rn and im rlly demotivated after my main got beamed and i lost my gs and 20k + vals but if i get a trophy that would just give me so much dopamine that i would explode in happiness.

We love sonic mania B) For mobile players, It's pretty much the same process, but you cant really use alts. I would personally find a 2-3 player server with people that also want to grind (and that they dont want to 1v1 at the end of the round, i've seen people do that haha)

Good question! Unfortunately the start of the update is just as bad, if not worse than normal peak hours... I would recommend grinding in public servers for 1-2 hours and then trying to switch to a smaller one as usual :)
I actually did 24 hours a day not 15.5 😭. I was hacked the last day for like 9 hours. Not to be wanting to correct you and stuff but the event was 7 days not 10 so the average was 22 hours a day because 4 day event 55 hour pause then 3 days continued. It should be 22x7 = 154 the closest to 152. Leaderboards definitely have changed for Halloween and Christmas. Halloween is definitely shorter and the 12 day event could of been completed in 4 days. it should end before Halloween and start like 22-24th. It’s definitely more hours now then 15-18 due to less days. Unsure if it’s going to be 7 days like last year. My rate might of been awful it depends on the speed. Faster the speed lesser the hours. It’s not rocket science. I’m definitely not going for another one way too much work. Good luck competitors.

Exploiters do get wiped at the end of the leaderboard, but schoolwork should always come first!
