I have been to church and heard about the holy spirit but there have been times when experiencing an encounter like praying in tongues, in the holy spirit in that church it meets with dark looks. It can be a shock to the system when these dark looks come from the pastor. Bewildering and confusing. I took it to God and now I pray in the spirit S led by the Holy spirit not people who only speak about him.

Jay, you are very wrong. God is the same yesterday,today and forever. I bet you have never read and meditated on all Jesus said concerning the Holy Spirit. If you do you will realize how much you have missed since you received Jesus. That I assume you have done at least. I feel his presence in some services and wish and pray I would in every service , I hear his voice sometimes and it is almost always a delight to my heart. Please open your heart to the presence of the Holy Spirit, his presence, his power and his glory we must not miss
