The bluesea,the Medusa and nemesis restaurants are highly recommended.never had any problems in the 29 years we’ve been to katelios. Will be there in June and September again.cant wait.😊
When I first visited Katelios about 23/24 years ago, where "Waves" is now there was a beach bar built out over the water, it was run by a chap called Fotiz, once most of the tourists had left for the night, the plinky-plonky music would go off and the rock music would come on and the locals would arrive, had some great nights in there over the years, the local council eventually forced him to remove the wooden structure over the sea, and he opened a small mini market in Mavarata. Just past his bar was originally jerry's elliniko where I expect Rudgy had his romantic meal, it used to have a small Avery outside. Who remembers the Katelios ducks ?
When I first visited Katelios about the same time as you I remember the place on stilts over the water. I used to stay in Skala for years and always looked forward to day visits there for lovely fish lunches. Two years ago I decided to stay in the village and loved the chill and laid back style there. Further on from where Rudgey turned back along the beach there's now Dreamcatcher taverna. Really liked it there with such great hosts running it. Can't wait to return this year to see them again.

Can you film a bit on Ithaca in the future ? The small island next to Kefalonia. I really want to go there lore wise. Unfortunately theres no airfield so there is a ferry going ?
Hi Rudgey, I’m new to your channel, having been introduced to you by my other half who discovered you a while back. We hope to visit for our 5th time this summer. I’m loving seeing beautiful Kefalonia out of season, it looks so peaceful. In addition I’ve also enjoyed watching your UK clips as I’m from Paignton so Torbay, Galmpton (& its politics like the Torbay Rd debacle!😂) is very familiar!!!
I also enjoyed your videos from Torbay and surrounding areas as very familiar with most places you filmed. One place however I might visit one day was Stoke Gabriel , down on the river where there was a cafe. Anywhere with a cuppa suits me.
