it's a Sharaton II actually. the vine headstock and gold hardware give it away.

Yep. Sheraton II. I own an ebony model. Picked it up dirt cheap at a pawn shop because kids only want solid bodies. Truss rod was completely loose on it. She's a great player now.

From Leo: Nice fix of the neck hump. I have a Jazzmaster that intonates straight across like that. I have checked and rechecked, but lining up all the saddles is what it needs. The planets must have lined up perfectly that day, It just seems weird.

Wow! I always learn something new, when I watch you work, Dave. When you said the radius on the fret sanding block was 12", I was thinking it should be 14"! Then I went to the Epi website and found out that the electrics are now 12", ala Gibby! When did that happen? I have two Korean Epi's, an '88 Sherry II and a '07 Firebird; both 14" radii. So, if your working on your 'older' Epi, be sure of what the radius on the fret board, actually is. Thanks, Dave

These are (mostly) decent guitars. Refret with some Jescar evo gold or stainless fw55090: costs $30 for the wire, couple of hours time and effort and you got a better player than most non cs Gibson 335's. 👍

When I see you tighten the bridge to bring it down...it's a one way ticket. Loosening it won't bring it back up. Wonder what you'd do if you wanted it a bit higher..on one side, for instance. Surprised to see gold/brass colors on the metal here, but they have a metal color on the toggle nut parts.
