The CSL was back in the day (2003-2005) double the price of a mere E46 M3 which seems insane, but then you get up close and personal with the CSL and you start to see why. The stripped out interior with carbon fiber parts, sport seats and alcantara steering wheel, carbon fiber doors cards, the ultra light carbon fiber bonnet, model unique shaped boot lid in carbon fiber and roof is also in carbon fiber. The wheels are stunning and the revised suspension let the CSL sits lower. And the front bumper and lower lip is stunning. This is BMW at its finest hour. What a special and beautiful model.
It’s still an amazing car, even now. And the price is almost 4 times bigger than a regular M3 (in good condition). But it’s basically a complete different car from the standard M3. I am glad that Solido decided to produce one (although not perfect), because the available models are over 200 euros
Love that Kyosho model. The prices are up tho 😅 Is the blue one? Yesterday somebody was selling a Kyosho silver M3 CSL, dealer edition, in box, for 240 euros 😅
@@ACCollection yes the Kyosho e46 aee now properly expensive. yes I have the blue one with the CSL wheels. It is arguably the best diecast e46 m3 in scale 1:18. Given that it out of production adds to the collectability of it. One perfect model it is. Now I must add the CSL.

Yes, it is a shame the doesn’t have that. The front splitters and rear diffuser have scale carbon decal applied. I think I will just paint black the roof…
It's a shame that they did the roof in plain paint. Deal breaker for me, unfortunately. I know the black one has it, buy the best CSL, in my opinion, was always a silver one. Thanks for the footage 👍🏻
@@ACCollection yeah the thing is I’m not that much of a fan of opening part models because of the gaps that come along with them. But I guess people have different tastes right? And that is the most fun thing about collecting 😆
@@ACCollection tbh I would have bought this Solido model if I hadn’t bought a Solido E36 M3 a couple weeks ago. I picked it up from the BMW headquarters in Munich. Tbh I wasn’t that much of a Solido fan but it thoght it would have been cool to get an E36 from there. But the quality reflects the price. Pretty good color but the materials are cheap and there’s huge gaps in between taillights and the chassis. I have an Otto station wagon e36 and I can guarantee you it’s 3 times better even without the opening doors
Yes, Solido is a budget model, and the quality reflects the price. I also have the e36 touring from Otto, and there is no comparison. That being said, Solido is still my favorite budget brand 😁
Overall the model is not perfect, but this reflects in price. Idk, I really love it, especially that i got it under 40 euros. I’m still looking for an Autoart model, but until then, this will do 😅 Thank you for watching!

I’m thinking of getting the ottomobile csl as soon as I find one below 300€. What do you think about that mode. It’s my dream car
The Ottomobile CSL is amazing, but at that price, I would rather buy the Kyosho model (you can also find them unde 300 € if you are patient)

You’re totally right. To be honest, I think over 50% of my collection is sealed models (resin or diecast). For the same exact reason (no panel gaps).
