For everyone comparing this to Dracula. It is not. The Nosferatu vampire is only driven by hunger. To essentially feed on blood. It cannot walk in the sunlight or be anywhere near it. In fact that alone will kill it. It also has no desire to change humans into vampires. Simply to kill them to satiate it's hunger. It has limited telekinetic powers compared to Dracula. Got to use code words given the authoritarian nature of TH-cam censorship.
The 1922 Count Orlok could cause destruction without doing degenerate bed stuff, what is even the point?
@ oh & I was jst joking about the word you used…dude I TOTALLY understand.
Sorry if my sarcasm came off wrong-wasn’t to you, it WAS to how ridiculous YT is
I mean, they’ll literally show a vid w/a guy pointing a pistol at someone…
& blur the pistol 🤣🤣
Like…WHAT, they think younger kids might believe he’s point the “middle finger”?? LOL ur absolutely correct my dude
@ oh & with my response to what ur point was (which was valid by all means)
Thomas being emasculated is part of the bleak horror, as I demonstrated in the response. Not that I’m “correct”-but as I said, Robert Eggers ACTUALLY DID want to explore such a sick relationship as Adam 22 & his wife in this film (not all but a good part)
And thinking on it? Getting cucked, to me…it’s pretty damn bleak lol
I wouldn’t stand for it, it’d kill me. & then, I’d be walking (talking if a true love here, like my wife-ya know?)
So, there’s a new perspective on it for ya.
Peace bro (again, take care dude)
THE 30 DAYS OF NIGHT VAMPIRES ARE NOSFERATU TOO
give her the oscar!!!!!!
No
She was over acting and annoying.
Best Picture 🏆
The time to remake really old movies is upon us
She awakened him
this movie was amazing i really suggest you go see it
But this vampire has a successful career singing for Laibach
Lol
I cant wait to see this movie
I LOVE BEING THE REAL ELLEN
Is this based on the Bram Stoker story?
Yeah, as well as the 1922 Nosferatu film which had a few differences to the Bram Stoker novel to avoid copyright issues. One of the biggest distinctions being how Dracula was portrayed/his abilities.
@@chrisbeaumont4630 The shadow thing here reminded me a lot of the '92 movie by Francis Ford Coppola.
@@ct6852 True true, I'm sure there will be inspiration drawn from all over the place as well as new ideas on top. Seems like a good modern Dracula film, I haven't been interested in watching one in a long time
@@chrisbeaumont4630 Last good one was Let Me In, maybe? Or the Swedish version?
@ct6852 Yeah, definitely. The most recent vampire movie I last watched was Let The Right One In and it was good, came out ages ago though.
What a powerful and sexy voice.😮👏🧛♂️💖
Thats the illusion, nosferatu is pretty chill actually
@@doubleog6149 incredible comment lmao
I enjoyed the movie but after watching..they could've done better casting the main actress and then discovered it was Johnny depps daughter so it was just nepotism
Yeah, I want to see this. I will own it, too.
he definitely came to her
Be careful what you long for 😅
She wished only for comfort, a predator heard and took advantage.
Blackcoat's Daughter vibes
Anyone able to translate what Orlock is saying? Behind the curtain in some other language? Curious minds etc
Great film. Went to the theater last night.
Lily Depp was great!
Only complaint was the design of Orlock.
I wish they kept it traditional
It was traditional though, more even than other versions.
I mean like Count Orlok has looked on film. This was a huge departure from the traditional film look.
They literally did keep it traditional haha
@ not literally in terms of cultural.
I mean in terms of what the character has looked like on film.
The traditional look of the character
Costumes looked great, acting was amazing, movie was terribly boring, the CGI was awful, not enough depth to the characters … story was drawn out at some points, and at other times it went too fast.
It was just okay I was expecting so much more, left feeling super disappointed since I was so excited for it. Cinematography was excellent though. Also was confused about Orlok’s new design, Bill Skaarsgard did a brilliant performance but the appearance of his character I couldn’t get behind.
Didn’t Defoe play a Dracula character once?
The only people who think it’s bad are the ones who only like mainstream fast-paced blockbuster movies.
im not good with horror stuff and i was wondering if it’s super scary? should i not watch it? im afraid i won’t be able to sleep at night 😭
Terrifying
Hear me out… Count Orlok
Enough already
Oh wow. Ong. U think this should win best picture and or best director. Im scared just watching the trailor . 🙉
❤
How scary is it? Looks very dark
Not as good as I thought it was going to be not a bad movie but not a great movie could have been scarier and more horror.
This movie was straight comedy 😂😂😂😂😂
why
I'm sorry to hear that
There are still some aggressively dopey people who believe this stuff. This movie looks like it has some good acting, actors like Willem Dafoe, who will do their best to transport the audience and who become the characters that they portray. For that reason I think that it’s worth a watch.
Better than 30 Days of Night?
Haven’t seen this yet but I like 30 days of night alot
@@laurenhoffman2751 I just saw Nosferatu. I would say its apples and oranges. Nosferatu is a more traditional vampire movie but 30 Days of Night is more action packed.
No more of her please. Stick to crappy cameos and gag films young lady.
why is orlock ripped af? how that contributes to anything?
So the vampire bones her lmao
