A wonderful chamber work of Saint-Saens. Martin Cooper points out that Saint-Saens lays out the course of early 20th century neo-classicism 50 years earlier! Ravel, Poulenc, and all of Les SIx, not to mention Stravinsky post RIte of Spring, compose in this manner. And a fine performance. Pleasee advise who the players are. Thank you for posting!

An antiromantic piece, almost neoclassic. Interesting. For you for posting with the score.
What a gloriously silly and melodious piece, perfect for virtuosic display. Too bad the third movement goes a bit long.
